Our villa is a private home located in the residential area Jan Sofat (a 24/7 gated community), just 5 minutes by car from the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. The villa is build on top of a hill providing you with a constant breeze and a spectacular view over the Caracasbay, Spanish Water and Caribbean Sea.

The villa sleeps 10 comfortably, with 3 spacious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on the second level, a game room with a sofa bed on the main floor and a fully furnished apartment with its own kitchen at the pool level. The apartment gives you enough privacy if you want to bring (grand)parents, friends or need the extra space. Please read below if you need 4 bedrooms.

For indoors entertainment there is a brand new 60” lcd TV as well as free Netflix, an Apple TV, Netflix and a DVD player with 5.1 surround and about a zillion DVDs. Complimentary Wifi/ Internet access throughout the house. Want to escape the heat? Well, there is an airconditioning in EVERY room of the house, including the livingroom. You won’t find that often in Curacao!
The kids will LOVE the game room, it offers a TV, a DVD player with loads of kids movies, as well as books, boardgames, a comfy sofa and kids desk. This room even has a sleeper sofa in case they don't want to leave ;)

The upgraded kitchen provides all needed for home made dinners including a Chefs Gas Stove and a brand new washer and dishwasher.

For formal dinners you can dine inside or dine outside and enjoy the romantic evening views over the water at the porch.
There is a powder room for your convience on the first floor as well.
Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom is the masterbedroom with a king bed, a sleeper sofa, with it’s own master bathroom and a gorgeous view of the boats in the bay as well as the ocean and the city of Willemstad. The second master bedroom has a queen bed and two twin beds and has its own bathroom. The third bedroom offers a queen bed with ensuite bathroom.

The 4th bedroom can be found downstairs in the apartment. The private apartment has a bedroom with a queen bed, a bathroom as well as a livingroom with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining and seating area. The apartment will be available for groups of 9 or 10 which is reflected in the price per night. The apartment is also available for smaller groups on request at an additional fee. All rooms have airconditioning.

The pool level can be reached by the stairs 1 level below the main level and is protected from curious kids by entrance doors if needed. The huge pool deck with natural stone (which doesn’t get hot in the sun) offers a romantic cabana dining area, a pool lounge set and sunchairs to soak up the sun. At the pool area you will also find the barbeque grill, great for family dinners at the pool! There is a huge deck for the kids to play in their own playhouse with climbers, swings etc. We have kids, we know what they like ;-) And for the little (and big) ones, there are TONS of pool floats and some kids snorkel equipment

Local beaches as Jan Thiel beach are only 5 minutes away. While you can find Mambo Beach within 10 minutes from our home.

* Curacao offers 100's of swimming, snorkeling and diving spots right of the beach.
* In Willemstad visit old 'Marche', Kura Holanda (museum), the pontoon bridge, the authentic colored houses. (15 minutes)
* Mambo Beach with on Tuesday night movies on the beach (10 minutes)
* Hato Caves (25 minutes)
* Ostrich Park österichfarm 'and restaurant Zambezi (15 minutes)
* Old Quarry Golf resort (10 minutes)
* Blue Bay golf resort (20 minutes)
* Christoffel Park and Sheta Boka Park, about 40 minutes driving to West direction point along Route flamingos St. Willibrord.
* Small Curacao boat trip departure is at the marina at the end of the street. This trip is our favorite!

Accessibility and facilities:
Jan Sofat is just 30 minutes from Hato Airport. A transfer is easy to arrange as we offer airport pick up and drop off services.
Capital Willemstad is just a 15 minutes drive away
