"The Commercial is an old heritage building that has been modernized inside. The furnishings are a bit bare bones, and this unit a fancy "luxury" place, but it has a lot of funky charm. The room was spotless, and the staff were all uniformly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again when visiting Edmonton's Old Strathcona district."

"Great hotel in the heart of Whyte Avenue. I often stay here when travelling for business. It's convenient and accessible. The building is older, so some of the non-renovated rooms reflect that. The front-desk and staff are very friendly and hospitable."

"Becky at the front desk was the perfect way to start our stay, she was so sweet and friendly.
The hotel itself was very clean and freshly updated, the bed was comfortable.
The cleaning staff were friendly and always said hi when we walked passed.
Overall the hotel is not the largest or fanciest but i couldn't fault it, we had a great stay and would definitely come back. "

"I was so pleased with my stay at this Baymont Hotel. The underground parking was a saving grace when temperatures dipped lower than -30C during that blustery cold time in Edmonton. The staff were so helpful. The location was ideal as I'd had to have my vehicle serviced at WEM Toyota and my conference was at River Cree. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette allowed me to prepare my own foods. I would recommend this hotel anytime. "
