Tucked away in the charming seaside town of Whitstable, Oyster Stay House is a contemporary 3-bedroom house just a short stroll from the beach, bustling High Street, and iconic harbour. Blending period features with modern, stylish interiors, this house is the perfect base for seaside escapes, foodie getaways, and relaxing retreats. Spread across two levels, the home comfortably accommodates up to six guests in three double bedrooms. The bright and spacious living room is a welcoming hub, complete with two cosy sofas, calming décor with soft touches, and a Smart TV for streaming your favourite shows via Netflix, Amazon Prime, and more – all powered by fast, free Wi-Fi. The fully equipped kitchen includes an induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, and washing machine, along with a variety of cookware, crockery, glassware, and cutlery. We also provide complimentary tea, coffee, salt, and pepper – so make yourself at home. The adjacent dining area seats up to six, perfect for shared meals or planning your day over a morning coffee.

Whether you're exploring the coastal path, sampling fresh oysters at Wheelers, or enjoying a night in with your favourite film, Oyster Stay House is a true home-away-from-home experience.

A beautiful house in a fantastic location! This is the perfect place for couples, professionals or a family to get away.

KITCHEN / LIVING AREA
The living area has a ton of natural daylight pouring in and the fully equipped kitchen has a washing machine, oven, kettle plus plenty of cookware, glassware, crockery and cutlery so you can easily cook up a brunch or lunch for everybody. In addition to this we offer complimentary tea and coffee, salt and pepper - so please help yourself. The dining table seats up to 6 guests. You’ll find the sociable and light living room set up with a Smart TV and two comfortable sofas, making it a lovely space for chilling out, getting together for a few drinks or catching up on the events of the day. If you prefer, you can simply relax and watch a movie on the TV.

BEDROOMS
There are three bedrooms. Plenty of fresh bed linen is provided for all beds. Travel Cot and High Chair are available for hire.

The property includes a main bathroom with a shower over bath, toilet, mirror and wash basin.

Our Guest Promise

We want you to arrive at a spotless home. If anything has been missed with the cleaning, please let us know straight away, and we will put it right as a priority. If we are unable to resolve it on the same business day, we will offer to move you to another property or refund you for the affected time!

Check-In

We’ll send your check-in instructions via email and SMS at 3 pm on your arrival day for check-in from 4 pm, once your damage deposit/waiver has been paid.

Damage Deposit

We work closely with our property owners to protect their homes and take damage deposits for all bookings. The day before check-in (or on the same day, if applicable), you’ll receive a 3D Secure link to select your preferred damage deposit option. The full deposit is simply pre-authorised on your card and released within 7 days of check-out if no breakages or damages are reported. Guests who prefer not to do a fully refundable damage deposit have the option of a one-off non-refundable damage waiver at a much lower cost.

Smoking

To keep our properties fresh and clean for all guests, smoking of any kind, leaving traces behind suggesting smoking of any kind, or vaping (including e-cigarettes), is not allowed indoors. Please smoke on the street or patio area, if available.

Noise

To help keep things peaceful for our neighbours, we kindly ask that noise be kept to a minimum between 10 pm and 8 am. We want you to have a great time. A little consideration goes a long way to making sure everyone can enjoy their evenings (and get a good night’s sleep!)
Not all properties can host hen, stag, or similar group celebrations. If you’re planning one, just drop us a message, and we’ll happily guide you to a property that can accommodate your group.
Please note that call-outs due to excessive noise or parties may incur a fee.

Pets

Check-Out

Check-out is by 11 am. Unauthorised late departures may incur a £50 per hour fee.

Before You Leave and as a consideration to future guests, please:

Wash up the used dishes.
Bag rubbish and use the correct recycling bins.
Return keys to the key safe (OR) Keynest location.
Switch off the lights.
Close all windows.
Turn down the heating.
These steps help us prepare for the next guests and save energy; every little bit counts.

Age Policy

The lead guest must be 21 or over. We cannot accept bookings where the majority of guests are under this age. If unsure, please contact us before booking please.

A Quick Note on Deposits and Property Care

If any of the above guidelines aren’t followed, we may need to make deductions from your deposit to cover additional cleaning or damages. We hope that’s never necessary!
