"Dino and Sarah were very hospitable. Not only did they have recommendations for places to go (and brochures) they also gave me a heads up on rough roads nearby. Everything was clean. I love the decor- especially the bathroom! The proximity of the beach is what makes this stay so special. Great wifi connection. I could go on. I highly recommend especially if you want some peace and quiet! "

"This place was wonderful! The views of Whitefish Bay are spectacular, and the house is very comfortable, perfectly clean, and well appointed. The kitchen is huge and very fully equipped. "We enjoyed the bunkhouse and it's quiet and peaceful rustic setting both inside and out. It was the perfect location for what we wanted to do (hike bike and relax). The sandy roads were not ideal for our biking but we managed to find some semi paved rds, the places we hiked were perfect as was the bonus trip to the Shipwreck museum and miles of walking along the shore of Lake Superior. Our biggest complaint was the mosquitos! We could not seem to get away from them!! Next time we would consider...

"The cottage was neat and tidy and comfortable! We felt quite at home. The road was too close for us to feel that our pets were safe. I didn’t realize the road was only 10 feet away from the front door. That was the only downfall to our stay. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay."

"The fall colors were exceptional. Especially the yellow leaves on the birch trees looking out on Whitefish Bay from all the windows facing East! We enjoyed the area! Highly recommend it as a "base camp" from which to leave for the day to hike, bird watch, explore the falls, Shipwreck museum etc."
