"Já é minh 4a estadia. Adoro os quartos com vista para o rio. Hotel foi renovado, quartos mais modernos, mudanças no restaurante e café, mantendo-se excelente. Staff é o ponto alto do hotel, funcionários atenciosos. Breakfast continental €7,50 atende bem. Ponto baixo foi o Wi-Fi: quarto 209 ok mas no 318 péssimo "

The owner checked us in and was very helpful in showing us our apartment, helping us carry luggage and the extras of having printed information for nearby villages, etc. The property was so relaxing and thoroughly enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. If I return to Ireland, this will absolutely be on my list of stops!!"

The staff on reception was very friendly and the night porter was great when we needed access after midnight as had to pop out to do a pickup from the airport. Breakfast in the morning was a fantatstic selection, we got down early so everything was very fresh and breakfast staff was very attentive and made sure we were happy with everything, will definitely be returning for another nights stay! "The Strand Inn was a great place to stay in Dunmore East. Sitting right on the beach, the property had a beautiful patio and dining area overlooking the water. The rooms weren’t very big but the bed was super comfortable and if you had a waterfront room than you were able to listen to the waves crash as you slept. We would definitely stay here again. "
"Nice and cosy, lovely meals and dessert at the bar. Parking at hotel. There is a small lay-by before the hotel on merchants quay as well as parking opposite by riverbank in order to drop off luggage. Parking instructions is at reception. The parking building is 3 streets behind the hotel called the Glen Car park. Take a ticket and it is validated when you leave so free parking. Only a 5 minute walk to hotel. When leaving take validated ticket to car park and bring car back to layby or opposite...
"Total gem and worth going a bit off the beaten path. Wonderfully renovated and welcoming spaces. On a cool night there were small fires in the fireplaces in the lobby and in the restaurant. The dinner at the restaurant was the best of our trip, and the included breakfast in the morning was also fabulous. Walkable little town with several historical points of interest, a Friday morning farmers market, and lots of locals at Joyces pub and bakery. We wished we had booked for more than one night. "
"Outstanding breakfast with fresh squeezed OJ and homemade scones. Full Irish breakfast was lovely. Comfortable lounge with microwave, fridge, and water cooler. Very clean. My only wish was that they would replace their frayed hand towels and noisy bathroom fan. Overall very comfortable with great breakfast . "
