"Rented this unit for some employees. I misunderstood what two of them was telling me when they said their wives would be in next job. The wives showed up here and I had not disclosed them. The host was undstanding and let them go ahead and spend the night. I would have completely understood if she would have been upset. But after I apologized and explained she was forgiving. Place is well maintained and you can tell they put alot of time and energy into keeping it up."

"A great location with character. Comfortable accommodations with plenty of bedrooms and baths, ample outdoor porch area to gather. Owner available next door and very welcoming. Outside planted area makes the environment relaxing. Parked the car and could walk everywhere in town the whole weekend."

"We enjoyed our time at this home in Hot Springs. The home is clean and the kitchen well stocked. The location is very close to town and easy to get to. The neighborhood is quiet and the view lovely. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions."

"We loved our stay over Mother’s Day weekend. The house is very comfortable and has a great front porch and lawn. The creek was lots of fun for our kids as well. Everything inside was well maintained. We didn’t use the back house at all but did check it out. Everything is close in Warm Springs so this place made the weekend very easy. I can’t imagine why staying at the Homestead would be better, at least with our young kids. We will visit again."

"We had a great time stayong at this property. Host asked if we were celebrating anything. We happened to be cisiting for my daughters 7th b day and skiing at homestead. She decorated for my daughter's b day which i felt was above and beyond! She has everything you need amd more !"

"We only stayed one night but the home served us well. We hiked and bike, so home's proximity to Jackson River Scenic Trail and Lake Moomaw was very convenient. House was a modest ranch style. Kitchen was well stocked. Water smelled of sulfur, but owners said it had been tested and was deemed potable. Setting of home was rural and pretty, ensuring lovely views from the outside deck and gazebo."
