"Stayed here for an anniversary vacation, and enjoyed every minute. Home was clean, inviting and comfortable. Deck overlooking the water was a favorite place to sit. Hill to the dock was a little steeper than I thought from photos, but we made do. Fish cleaning station is a nice touch. Kitchen had everything we needed. Wonderful shower with great water pressure.(We all know we've stayed in places that was not the case.) Would highly recommend."

"We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lake home! The views from every room are absolutely breathtaking, and the house itself was spotless and well-equipped. The owner was incredibly kind and responsive, making everything so easy. One of our favorite moments was watching the sunset from the top deck..truly unforgettable!"

"This is an amazing property and a great stay. I always try to leave something to be improved on however: There is a small hornet/wasp nest somewhere under the stairs down to the lake, near the shed. Several people were stung. But it was not a constant problem so the nest must be small, but probably worth removing. Also, there was not enough toilet paper (at least that we could find) to cover all bathrooms so we had to buy some. But like I said overall very very nice and would definitely...

"We had a wonderful experience at this Property on Lake Chetek for a family reunion. We had 21 guests ranging in age from 4-74 and everyone was comfortable in the 8 bedrooms. There is 1 king bedroom on the main level which is great for those that cannot do stairs.All of rooms were clean and I appreciated that there were no strong odors from cleaning products. "Bobbi was wonderful throughout our time there at the Sanctuary. We had 46 people staying there for our family reunion and it was amazing! The kitchen was fully stocked. We had 2 large gathering places and the beds were comfortable. Checkout was smooth too. We liked it so much that we will be going back for our next family reunion."

"Best stocked kitchen of any VRBOs we have booked in the past, great central kitchen/dinning/seating location for large gatherings! We also liked the kayaks, yard games and lake views from the backyard. The numerous bedrooms with attached bathrooms was perfect for our group of teens to older grandparents. We also enjoyed nearby Menomonie with its downtown charm and nice grocery and other amenities."

"Sadly we came into town from upstate New York for a funeral, but this house and its location were just perfect! Our extended family had a place to meet after the funeral where we found a space that was inviting and relaxing. We laughed, we hugged, and we shared memories. The time spent with family was wonderful. This is such a beautiful well maintained house nestled in the perfect location. Thank you so much for allowing us the use of your beautiful home!! "
