"We chose this property because of it's location between Indianapolis and Chicago, as half our group was coming from each city. The house and outdoor area met every expectation for our weekend together. Michel was incredibly responsive and asked very little of us as guests. We rarely left the house, but when we did, downtown DeMotte had a great diner (Steve's Grill) and really nice grocery store. Very likely our group will try to make this our annual meet up location."

"The house was clean, comfy, and charming. Perfect for our home base as we visited several friends after moving away from Valparaiso a couple of years ago. Some accessibility features were very helpful after a recent injury. This is a great spot for a visit to Valpo. Highly recommended. "

"Everything was great. Towels of all kinds. Lots of pillows. Even coffee. Very nice fire pit outside. "

"This was a great place on the lake!! We stayed for World Series with another family. The beds were super comfortable, which was huge for me:)The kids enjoyed air hockey, basketball, and the lake. So much for the kids to do, they were never bored.. that’s for sure!! I do wish the kitchen had more pans, silverware, etc but overall we had a wonderful time and made some great memories!!"

"The only drawback was Air conditioning. It was extremely hot out and at night the bedrooms got a little warm. Loved the room for the family. For an older lake home, I was amazed at solid floors with no squeaks. Family loved the game room and games and toys, as well as the hot tub."

"We had a fantastic stay at the cottage. Very clean, well stocked. Kathy was awesome. Very helpful with everything. So very kind to allow use of so many water toys. The property is extremely well kept. The whole area is peaceful and very safe. People are very friendly. The cottage is behind the house so a very short walk to the lake, but that makes it very private. We kayaked, played in the water, sat by the fire and watched fireworks and beautiful night sky. Thanks again!!"

"Our Adult Children, Spouses & Grandchildren had a Fantastic Time @ The Summer House! The property is Beautiful! We especially enjoyed the shallow beach for our Grandchildren. The Garage was well equipped on electronic games, ping pong, shuffle board and other games. Plenty of room for a family gathering, plus enough good-sized bedrooms for people to have their own space. 2 TV gathering areas with a pop-a-shot and karaoke machine that we enjoyed. Despite the hot and humid weather outside, home was pleasant and cool inside. Everything was up-to-date. clean, plush bedding and towels made you feel special.
