Hidden Treasure
Spotless comfortable relaxing getaway. Actually we all kaumatua aged 66 t0 75yrs . The stairs are a welcome challenge. Kept us fit. The views to die for. Will definitely tell all we know about this beautiful hideaway

Beautiful vista, calm household, comfortable beds, exceptionally clean. And games! So glad we stayed
A very comfortable place to return to after being out and about - full kitchen, comfortable lounge, a clean bathroom with a bath. In the mornings, we were treated to a bevy of quails fluffing around the generous garden space below, very cute. And the private deck was so great to take in the morning sun for coffee, the sunsets over Whanganui, and the fresh night air for the stars. Our host was quick to respond and discrete - accepting a delivery of surprise flowers on my behalf. We had a great rest.

Lovely
Was a really lovely stay! Though attached to the house of the owners we had plenty of privacy. Was beautiful views, lovely little deck for us to stand out on especially with the neat lights they had hanging around the top. The place was so neat and tidy, honestly just a really enjoyable little stay. Thank-you so much!

Clean, beautiful property, child friendly with trampoline, decent outdoor section,swing set and board games and luckily Christmas lights that our girls thoroughly enjoyed. Atmosphere inside and out tranquil. Owners friendly. This was the perfect, comforting place to stay for a mental health break.

Great family accommodation
We were very impressed with the accommodation - very clean and well equipped and plenty of room for our family of five. The rural outlook (complete with horses and quail) was a bonus given how close it was to town.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Stayed for 3 weeks on a working trip. Found it very comfortable and the view was fabulous. Steps could be a little tricky to navigate down to the front door but overall was a very nice place to stay.

Excellent accommodation
Perfect place to stay as a family of 2 adults and 2 children. Very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Handy to town, off street parking and a great view! Vern and Tanya were so helpful if we needed anything.

Beaut stay pre Christmas
This self contained unit is very tidy and well equipped with modern appliances. Comfy beds, balcony with beautiful views and very welcoming hosts. We enjoyed the Christmas lights!

We all enjoyed our stay in this immaculate, tasteful modern house . Especially appreciated the little welcome touches on our arrival, thank you ! Fantastic location for Whanganui town centre and we were also able to access a rural/beach walk on the outskirts of town - superb. A lovely weekend !!

awesome accomodation in great location
We enjoyed not only the awesome, very clean and modern accomodation but also the great hospitality of the owners. They gave absolute privacy to us and at the same time were there to help with everything we needed and asked about. Moreover, a stunning view, close to center and the pleasure of having native birds around. Thank you for making our whole family feel at home from the first day on!

Awesome accommodation
We had a great 2 night stay with our 5yr old grandson. Very comfortable, modern and clean. Very quiet and comfy beds. Kids toys/games and continental breakfast supplies were much appreciated. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others

A lovely homely property
We were welcomed by the owners and provided with a bottle of wine, cheese and crackers which we greatly appreciated for our six day stay. The property is very new and spotlessly clean, with very comfortable beds . The property is well located , close to the city centre, and to a very good restaurant “Caroline’s Boatshed “. We can certainly recommend this property

Fantastic place to stay
Lovely little apartment. Very neat and tidy nicely furnished with the most thoughtful touches to make it extra welcoming! Lovely views in the morning and evening too. Apartmentt is under main property but is completely private although our hosts were available if we needed to contact them at all. Also loved how welcoming this space seemed for families. Would most definitely stay again, thank you! Xx

Wonderful stay at lovely modern property
Our group of 4 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Spacious 2 bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and lovely balcony for relaxing and outdoor eating, Wonderful rural view in quiet suburban location. 4km to city centre and near 2 supermarkets by car. Very friendly and helpful host who added thoughtful touches to make stay memorable and comfortable. Beautiful sunrise morning view.
