"Absolutely disgusting hotel. Used tampon in parking lot. Mud and stains all over the floors. My bed had hair all over it under the sheets stains on the tables shower looked dirty like it hasn’t been cleaned. I got moved to another room and that bed had stains all over the sheets that resembled urine had to then request new sheets that I had to put on myself. The elevators are disgusting. Ice machine leaking water everywhere. The general manager was extremely rude hung up on me. I asked for a...

"Our first impressions were good. Hotel was newer, modern and clean. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. However, it lacked basic amenities like a hair dryer, coffee maker, tissue box, adequate towels and did not have a second nightstand on the other side of a king size bed."

"We were reluctant to make reservations because of the very few reviews. We are sure glad we did. It is newly renovated and has only been open a few days. Room was clean and large. Many shops nearby. Very friendly staff. And the price was about half that of other hotels nearby. Can’t recommend it highly enough."

"A new building designed in the style of colonial era homes. Larry and Patricia were terrific hosts. Breakfast was made to order and amazing, including biscuits made according to Larry’s grandmother’s recipe. Comfy bed, plush towels. The dimmer switches for the lights are a great touch. Plenty of parking, nice large backyard with tons of birds. Remote location so it’s nice and quiet. Absolutely would stay here again! "

"Excellent experience for my family. I think my only complaint would be that you have to pay for parking even staying at the lodge. Other than that, it was alittle pricey, but expected! Excellent families with young ones! Five stars from me regardless!"

I love it, the kids love it and let me tell you about the excellent type of customer service.You can expect; They serve breakfast and I love their sausage gravy and biscuit.But the chain I came to this time only serves it on Tuesday, the staff member overheard me saying something about it.And made some specifically for us.😍. Wonderful. This stay was with Hilton Express Lightfoot in Va. The entire staff deserves a specific shout out."

"Booked and paid for a double room 5 weeks in advance. At check-in, after waiting for staff to check multiple rooms it was discovered there were no double rooms available. I was then told I would be given a single with a roll away cot….but after more waiting, we found out there were no cots available. The desk person finally called the manager, who said the best they could do for me was 50% off of a second room. What a deal! 50% off of a room I should not have to pay for in the first place....
