"Spacious home with all the desirable vacation amenities. The house was large enough for a gathering of at least 10 people if not more. There are only two bathrooms despite having 5 bedrooms, so keep that in mind. The property seemed to be designed with a “man cave” focus, minus a pool table; large TVs in every room with a grand outdoor kitchen. We could not wait until sunrise to see the beautiful views on top of the mountain. I would caution that a good vehicle is needed to get up to the house...

"We really enjoyed our stay at this mountain hill home. So clean and comfortable. It was equipped with the necessary high speed wi-fy as well as 2 smart tvs. We did have a couple of issues that were quickly resolved by the owner and property manager as communication with them was excellent. The mountain and valley views from the front porch was magnificent. This was our second stay at this home and will definitely request it again in the future trips!"

"This was the main highlight of our fun vacation in Fort Bragg / Mendocino. The house is right at the border of the forest and has excellent views of the both the forest and the ocean. Keep at least a night to view the sunset from the bed as viewing the sunset is worth it from the house when you're not on the beach. The greenhouse / glasshouse attached to the house was where we ate most meals as a family under the stars. Seeing deer wandering around while sipping on wine was the best combination...

"I would highly recommend this stay in Fort Bragg. The home was clean, uncluttered, and easy to check-in/out. The location is peaceful, with easy access to 10 mile beach - but be prepared for a hike if you want to make it to the water! Great bird watching or stargazing if that's your thing!"

"Loved the house! Super cute and spacious, great kitchen, option to use the garage was great, everything! Only slight complaint is all the beds feel like basically the same fairly hard foam which I didn’t really like, but otherwise it was an almost perfect stay. Will definitely think about staying again if I can make it back to Shelter Cove."

"Had a great time with the family. Perfect house to play board games, cook family meals, and host a Murder Mystery Dinner party. Shelter cove was a perfect quaint beach town to relax and enjoy the coast line, with many wonderful hikes near buy. The Host were wonderful to work with and the house was perfectly stocked with all the essentials. would highly recommend staying in this beautiful house."

"Property is set up for family and large groups who want a private setting close to all the features that make Ft. Bragg a beloved beach vacation spot. House may not be for those who want modern, new, fixtures with a view, but those who appreciate a fun, old house that offers lots of space, plenty of room to play and enjoy the outdoors, this may suit your needs. Having only one shower with two baths can be logistically challenging, but some flexibility can solve this. Loved the fire pit outside,...

"Love the house and all of the amenities provided, more than we have ever seen, bikes, golf clubs, grill, washer dryer, parking in the garage, snacks, coffee, down to the nice linens and towels supplied!"

"It was thoughtfully equipped with everything you need from kitchen supplies to forgotten toiletries as well as cruiser bikes and board games. Kira decorated it so nicely and it was immaculate. I brought my two small dogs and she even had dog bowls/towels. There is a vacuum in the upstairs closet to tidy up after your pups, which was nice. The views of the golf course, airfield, and ocean are delightful. Check out the little farmer’s market on Tuesdays! I would love to return to this retreat on...

"We really enjoyed our stay, including time lounging on the balcony with an ocean view. The place had everything we needed, including a comfortable and cozy living room, well-equipped kitchen and roomy bedrooms with excellent quality beds (and views). The beds were a big plus. The hosts were super responsive and friendly. We’d stay again! "
