"We had a nice 3-day stay at this little cabin. It's very charming and the views of the lake were very special. It is tiny - and as the listing explains, this is a cabin meant for just a couple of people who don't mind being cozy. Laurel is a great host and had a lot of great resources and references for us. "A nice, clean apartment that is within walking distance of just about everything in Burlington. It's a few blocks away from the lake and downtown. Lots of cool, funky places to eat and hang out. If you are not calorie or saturated fat averse, go check out Handy's Lunch, which is a block away on the corner. My only issue might be the bathroom, which is a bit small for a big guy like me. However, the place has everything you need for an enjoyable stay in Burlington!"

"Some trouble getting in but could have been some user error. The lock is a little different and it spins so can be confusing. The owners checked in quite a bit until they could get in. The only other trouble was the second shower had no hot water. Had to use 1 shower for everyone. Only there for a long weekend so unable to be fixed that quick, understandable. Owner was very respectful and responsive. The home was very clean and tidy. Seems like everyone was comfortable in the beds as well....

"A small group of friends, myself, and my two dogs stayed here to watch the solar eclipse. The spacious backyard was the perfect place for eclipse viewing and the small town was close enough to Lake Placid for a morning shopping trip but far enough away to avoid the traffic. The house itself has GORGEOUS views, a relaxing hot tub (perfect for after a long hike), and a fully equipped kitchen. Overall it was the perfect home away from home to spend a long weekend."

"Great place for a family. Convenient to Ausable Chasm, some nice restaurants and a great state day use facility. Great fenced yard and there were s’more sticks which was convenient. Everything felt very clean and the check in was very easy. It was very quiet inside and the WiFi worked very well for streaming Netflix."

"Comfortable, high end furnishings and a quiet neighborhood. The home is lake side and we spent many hours out on the back deck. Shaded by an electric awning made afternoons a delight. Everything, from the bedding to the entertainment areas were super comfortable. My dealing with the host family felt like I was talking to my old neighbors. We found the surrounding towns to be places to visit again. Wasn't at all disappointed."

"We have rented this cottage in September 2023 to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday with friends. The Owner was very accessible, answered all my questions very fast before and while we were there. The place is beautiful, everything you need to cook is there, and the view from the kitchen and living room is amazing! The master bedroom is beautiful, private and has many windows so you can see the lake when you wake up in the morning. I will definitely go back!"

"We visited in early April to see the solar eclipse. The house was cozy, cute and comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped, the views of the lake are lovely, and the eclipse was spectacular. The property is clearly optimal for summer use, and in early spring we couldn't take advantage of all of its amenities and advantages. Would love to come back sometime in warmer weather. A couple of things to be aware of: It's a long and steep set of stairs from the parking area to the house --...

"The employees need more training in customer service. The front desk person did not have the attitude of helping to get my request granted (finding a phone charger to borrow) they only answered no and didnt offer any other potential solution. Housekeeping passed the buck to the front desk! Also, they were Very abrupt about keeping the stub for checked bags insinuating that we couldnt get our bags back if we didnt have the ticket."
