Weston-Super-Mare has 7 miles of sandy beach and a famous pier, along with many traditional seaside attractions. Nearby are the smaller and quieter resorts of Burnham-on-Sea and Clevedon. Cheddar Gorge and Caves are a must, along with the caves of Wookey Hole. The city of Wells, with its magnificent cathedral and Bishop’s Palace, offers a delightful day out. Also within an hour’s drive are the cities of Bath and Bristol. Visit Glastonbury, with its abbey ruins and famous tor, and the Clarks retail village at Street. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
