"The construction right below our room until after 9:30pm was aweful. I'm surprised we weren't at least placed in a room further from the construction. Hot tub was brown, not at all like the photos. The room was clean so that met expectations."

" When we arrived at the hotel, the area was indeed full of homeless people. We decided not to stay, canceled our reservation, and left. We contacted Expedia, and they reached out to the hotel and processed a refund for us."

"It's clear the owners are refurbishing this motel right off I-91 in Putney, VT. The bathrooms are freshly tiles, wooden floors replace wall to wall carpet, new lighting and thermo pane sliding doors. If you need a bed on a long drive, support these folks. Putney Food Coop is just up the road for great coffee and a wide choice of food."

"Beautifully modernized Inn. Well maintained and very clean. The entire check in/out process was smooth, hot tub was easy to use, and the room was impeccable. 100% recommend to anyone. For the skiers/boarders, they even have a whole room with boot dryers, no more resorting to hair dryers! "

"The continental breakfast was good - a variety of fresh baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruits, granola, teas, and the coffee was excellent! It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works. Parking was no problem - plenty of space, well-lit, felt absloutely...

"What a warm and welcoming place to stay. Beds and pillows were super comfortable, very clean room. Common areas were cozy and clean. You will never find a better breakfast than the 3 course meal we had. Local yogurt, homemade lemon curd, with homemade granola and berries. Then wonderfully cooked frittata with Crème fraîche, local sourdough toast, and a bed of nice greens and radishes. Then the most amazing citrus olive oil cake. There is coffee, tea and homemade cookies always available....

"This property was definitely on the older side and could use some renos. All of the towels in my room were stained, and the kleenex boxes left empty. I don't think one single staff member greeted me during the 3 nights I stayed there. They just sat behind the desk or walked about but never said hello or even smiled. "
