"Everything was very nicely setup. We had problem with drainage in our sink and shower, but our host allowed us to move down a room. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the lake is glorious at all times of the day."

"My partner and I had such a lovely time here. I don’t even know where to start. The room was very cute, comfortable, clean and had a soaking tub ( and some lovely bath salts) that was a real treat. We took a nice little swim in the lake which was the perfect temperature. The gentleman who owns this place is friendly and professional, i felt welcome and at ease while interacting with him. I met a dog and a cat. The cat was perfect in every way- mysterious yet friendly, unafraid and unconcerned....

"As you approach the property you see an unkept yard with broken down vehicles. Our luxury studio had large trash cans in front and 2 rusty boats. Our view from the room faced a cluttered backyard with a rusty tractor, railroad tracks, then the beautiful lake. We walked around the studios to try to get to the lake abd found more broken down vehicles and more non landscaped land. Behind our slay bed was a wall of spider webs. "Absolutely wonderful! The room and the lake is the destination. No desire to go elsewhere for entertainment. The lofts are a fantastic idea. 5 of us in 2 bedrooms and we hardly noticed each other. Plenty of room. The antiques in the rooms are beautiful and they function! What an excellent experience!"

"To begin with the room, it was well maintained with the most unique old world charm. Everything was in good working order and the kitchen was well stocked. The lake was beautiful which added to a beautiful sunset. The train passed twice in the afternoon, but it was not loud. I actually found it to be quite interesting "

"Good ocean view from upper floors. (We were on 4th). Very pleasant, though dated. Comfy quiet room. Great value for about $100 (March weeknight) We signed up for a second night! Best uncrowded beach walking anywhere! Almost solitary. Surf is far out, su very safe. Long, wide, flat, rockless white sand. Lots of sand & driftwood & tuffts of beachgrass forming dunes along the foreshore (that's whats blocking the oceanview from lower floors). Cafe worth a try; you might like it."
