"Property just as described. Slight problem on Christmas Day, but this was responded to immediately. It needed to reset the fire alarm but was resolved quickly. However, there was a "bleep" sound from the control box in the hall after this, which was very close to the pillow of the lower bunk where our son slept. "We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful property in the Lake District. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. The location was perfect: peaceful and secluded, but only a short drive (or a long, scenic walk!) to some amazing views, great pubs, and some fantastic hiking trails.
