This family home is a comfortable, convenient base for exploring some of the best attractions in Wiltshire & Somerset. It is just a few minutes' drive from the famous Westbury White Horse and the family-friendly Longleat Safari Park. Bath’s historic city centre is also only 35 minutes drive. The house is tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac in the centre of town and is part of a small, friendly crescent of 15 houses that share a central green space, perfect for letting children play.
The space
The house is a simple and relaxed three-story townhouse with a bright and practical layout, located in the town. On the ground floor, you’ll find the open plan kitchen, dining nook, and a work space — ideal if you need to catch up on emails during your stay. Upstairs on the first floor is a large, comfortable lounge featuring a double sofa bed, a single bedroom, and a family bathroom. The top floor has two double bedrooms in the eaves, one of which has an en-suite shower room.
It’s an easy few minutes’ walk to Morrisons supermarket and the local high street, where you’ll find a selection of chemists, cafes, and a couple of casual dining spots, including an Indian restaurant and a fish & chip shop. Whether you need to pick up essentials or fancy a coffee nearby, everything is close and convenient. The mainline train station is a 20 minutes walk away, with regular trains to Bath, Bristol and London.
The vibrant market town of Frome is just over 10 minutes drive away, with it's monthly farmers market, the Cheese & Grain venue and a multitude of independent shops, restaurants and cafes.
