Cozy cabin just 6 blocks from the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park!



The Space:

This cute cabin has been completely remodeled and is well equipped to serve as the basecamp for your Yellowstone vacation.  It is located just 6 blocks from the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park.  There is a queen bed in the bedroom, as well as a full sleeper sofa in the living room, and the loft is perfect for reading or the ultimate "fort" for kids!  There are 2 smart TVs, high speed fiber internet, propane BBQ grill, stackable washer/dryer, and a brand new kitchen that allow you to either "work" or play while staying with us.

Overall this is a GREAT place to stay! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the location. What I mean by that is NOT the location to food, shops, entrance to the Park, etc., because all of that was awesome, rather the location of the cabin being basically in the front yard of what appears to be someone’s permanent residence. Now, with that being said, during our 5 night stay I think we only seen somebody from that house 1 time. So, it’s not THAT big of a deal, however when we first arrived to the cabin we couldn’t help but ask the question of “is that somebody’s house right there?”….Its just not something that was even seen in any of the property listing pictures, nor in the description, to our knowledge. Outside our that it was the perfect place to call home for our trip. Small but just right! Washer and dryer. Stocked kitchen. Plenty of fans, pillows, and blankets. We could walk to everything within the town. Check in was a breeze! Super easy. Do not hesitate to book this property.

Great location, well maintained and clean, and had everything (and more) than we needed. We’ve stayed outside East entrance before, but now really prefer West Yellowstone.The Playmill Theater in town does a good job, and has an audience of all ages. As a bonus, an extensive trail system is accessible across the street. Didn’t seem to get a lot of use, but supports snowmobiles and motor bikes. I used it for an early morning run. A double rainbow greeted my return.

Comfy Cabin

My husband and I were very impressed with this cabin. ROAM manages the property; they were very attentive and responsive. The cabin is bright inside, with up-to-date appliances and amenities, a comfy bed, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The front porch was a lovely place to read and relax because the street was quiet. I would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect staging area for Yellowstone

Property was perfect for our first 3 nights near Yellowstone. We showed up 4 hours before check in time, and the place was ready for us. Comfortably slept 4 including 2 children.

Perfect Homebase

This cabin was comfortable and made a great home base for exploring Yellowstone. Room darkening curtains were appreciated as it got light around 5 am and thoughtful items such as fans, coolers and reusable to go cups made sleeping and adventuring easy. Washer and dryer were handy too!

We enjoyed that it was in the trees and felt like out in the woods, yet it was in town close to all the businesses. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Fantastic getaway

The cabin was everything we wanted and needed for our stay over the New Year’s holiday. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. If we travel back through West Yellowstone we will definitely rebook.

Wonderful West Yellowstone

The cabin was exactly as described and pictured. It contained everything one would need to make this a base camp for a few days or a whole week. I loved being so close to the western entrance of Yellowstone and went into the park every day. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to any person or group traveling to Yellowstone and the surrounding areas.

It worked great

It did the job for my husband, his brother, and me. The pull out bed was comfortable enough for my brother in law. We loved that each room had its own temperature control. It was suuuper close to the Yellowstone entrance and definitely walkable to the handful of charming West Yellowstone restaurants and shops. It was a little too small to be able to sit around and socialize at the end of the day or to sit and have dinner together, so I would recommend that for more than 2 people, not to plan on cooking and eating comfortably inside. At least it wasn’t great for our group dynamics. That wasn’t a huge surprise given the pictures and info about the property and the fact that we did so much in the park during the day, all we wanted by the end of it was food, and shower, and sleep. For the price it and our vacation style it was perfect. The only reason it lost one star for us was due to some questions in our last day from the property management that we deemed annoying and unnecessary. I was peeved enough about it that I would have left less stars, but we were about 20 min past the 10 am check out time leaving the property so I assumed they were annoyed at us too and gave them a break.

Comfortable stay and good location

Overall, our stay in this cabin was pleasant. The cabin was clean, the shower was good, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We wanted the experience of having pine trees around us instead of staying in a hotel, and that's what we got. Hosts had their guests in mind, as they offered coffee for your first morning, enough laundry detergent for a load, and basic spices for cooking in case you hadn't shopped for these yet - thank you! The cabin was in a good location where we could walk to restaurants and shops in West Yellowstone. We had our trip already planned when Yellowstone experienced major flooding, and Mindy was responsive to our questions and provided updates on the status of the property and operation of Yellowstone - much appreciated! Two critiques - the cabin was a bit on the expensive side with really high fees. I understand that the local economy thrives on tourism, but it felt excessive. The only other tiny drawback was that the cabin is on the small side, and we had to pull out and store the sofa bed each night to even move around the living room area or eat at the table. We are used to small spaces, but it was pushing too small. The loft area is so cute and my son liked it - it would have been good if there was a little futon cushion, or bedding of some sort, and he would have slept in the loft instead of pulling out the bed each night. Overall, our stay was great. Thank you!

The cabin is so cute! We feel that it was the perfect size for us! The inside seemed bigger than we thought. It has everything we needed. Location is very convenient as it is close to the park and the town too.

Clean house and easy access to park

Property was great, it's was clean and well equipped house product, kitchen supplies, towels, extra blankets, felt like home. It's easy access to west gate entrance. Only thing inconvenient was in cold weather, house heater was not on....it took couple of hours to set to normal.

Yellowstone Park Visit

The cabin was in a great location for visiting the park and Mindy was very responsive to our needs. There was a problem with the shower and Mindy had it fixed the morning that we notified her. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The only issue we had was that the futon was not as comfortable as we would have liked. We like to make our own meals and were glad the cabin had a gas grill. Overall we had a great stay.

Nice cabin close to Yellowstone west entrance!

We decided very late to visit the YNP and I stumbled upon this home and booked it for the weekend. It's a cute cabin with all amenities. My friends and I enjoyed staying here thoroughly. Mindy has been super responsive in answering the questions. Would definitely stay here when we come back to YNP again.

Fantastic stay

At the doorstep of Yellowstone's west entrance. Super convenient location with access to restaurants, groceries, and of course Yellowstone National Park. Clean, well equipped, and with a cute attic. Highly recommended!

Nice cabin for small family

We loved our stay here. It has everything that we expected. Mindy was nice and clear with her communication. Don’t forget to read the check in and check out instructions in the binder in the cabin.

Secluded spot, close to ball field

The rental was well maintained, clean, and is represented well by the ad. Maybe the best part, and something we look for, is a ball field near by we can play ball. The basketball court, playground, and the grass field is well maintained and good for catch.

perfect little cabin

Cabin feels like it's in the woods, but it's a few blocks from downtown West Yellowstone. Loft area could easily sleep 4 kids if you brought extra bedding. Kitchen was more than enough to breakfast. This was a great base for our Yellowstone adventure and we were sorry to leave.

Graduation gift

We were disappointed that our grandson was in a loft with only a rollaway bed. Our only options for relaxing after long days in the park were an uncomfortable futon or metal chairs. The kitchen was nice but missing any baking pans, pitcher, even a salad bowl. Appreciated the grill & washer & dryer. We choose VRBOs because we like to prepare our own meals.
