We loved cooking in the large, light-filled kitchen, and there were multiple different dining locations - inside and out. Thanks to Sam for making sure we had everything we needed."

"We really enjoyed our time at the cottage! This is a spectacular location with the very short walk down a wooded path to the beach at Lambert's Cove. It was a nice location for food and shopping at Vineyard Haven and visiting our friends in Chilmark. I recommend you arrive during daylight hours as we did - I think it might be tough to find the place for the first time at night. Also, the size of the cottage is perfect for a couple but would work well with one or two small children in the smaller...

"The Cottage on Oak Lane was a superb property and host experience for both my wife and I. Everything was clean and prepared upon entry. Having (quality) towels and linens provided was a huge plus. The grill is older but works perfectly. The dirt road Oak Lane is a bit long but extremely well maintained, low travelled, and provides excellent privacy. Our communication with the host gets an A and we used the in house guide to source several excellent activities. My wife and I would rent here again...

"Wonderful 10 days with family and friends close to Vineyard Sound and the Sanctuary. The house was very clean and adequately stocked for any need. Plenty of bathrooms with good water pressure and expansive kitchen. Cooked and grilled many meals and played croquet and paddle daily. Private and nicely landscaped. Very comfortable especially with the air conditioning."
