"Short getaway for our anniversary. Great little spot on the lake. Lots of places to hang out and take in the view, either in the sun, or shade or at night. Enjoyed the kayaks and especially the paddle boat. Grilled and ate dinner on the porch, and enjoyed the fire pit at night. Plus, got to bring our doggie too. Recommend you stay and enjoy."

"I lucked out in booking Libby’s Lake Retreat! It faced a tobacco farm and backed up to Lake Congamond. Talk about peaceful! It’s nestled in the middle of lake house community - very nice neighbors we spoke to on our evening walks and days fishing off the dock. Cottage was a perfect size with enough space with my tween son and didn’t seem crowded when my husband and other son joined our second week we stayed. "excellent property, great value, good location. very clean. Only 1 minor issue and a couple of siggestions: we seen too many carpenter ants(large black) throughout the house. Suggestions: extra pillows and blankets and it might be helpful to have at least 1 grab bar in the tub/shower. We would stay here again when in the area. "

"Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt in dem kleinen, aber sehr gemütlichen Haus. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Gegend sehr ruhig, sodass wir immer entspannt schlafen konnten. Den Kindern hat insbesondere der Keller mit dem Tischkicker gefallen. Die Lage war perfekt, um alle Highlights in Connecticut in kurzer Zeit erreichen zu können. Absolut empfehlenswert."

"Fomos recebidos por uma recepcionista mal humorada, de cara fechada, que não levantava a cabeça para falar. Também foi rude, deu respostas atravessadas e irônicas. Não deveria NUNCA estar trabalhando no setor de hospitalidade. A recepcionista foi o primeiro sinal. O elevador estava quebrado “permanentemente”, e ela nos disse grosseiramente: peguem a escada. Ao chegar nos quartos (reservamos dois), os dois quartos cheiravam a mofo, o carpete tinha aspecto sujo e em um dos quartos havia uma poça, que parecia de urina. Desistimos do hotel na mesma hora, e fizemos o checkout duas horas depois, indo para um da rede Hilton. Desastroso, nas fotos parecia algo bem melhor. Não somos “cri-cris” nem demasiados críticos, essa foi a primeira vez que abandonamos um hotel dessa forma. Isso significa que a coisa realmente foi feia. Fujam."
