"Really unique stay in a motel converted from an old high school. The room was clean, comfortable, and had some of the character of an old school room. Definitely a nice change from the usual hotel experience."

"The location with Central… But… The elevator stopped working with me in it for a few minutes… And the television didn’t have any instructions on how to use the controller… I couldn’t get it to work. I asked the desk to send someone up… And after five minutes, he said oh you only get the upper channels. I think that was somewhere between 10 and 15 channels no possibility of Netflix or any movie channel… Or streaming… Oh well."

"Rooms felt dirty. The room my coworker was staying in had water stains on the dresser. Her sink would not drain. My sink's faucet was loose and not well secured. Upon entering the room it smelt like cheap cleaning products."

Years and years of loving curation provide pure eye candy for visitors while lending a true element of grandmacore nostalgia, exhibiting decades of a life well lived in every available space!! The host, Burnette, is a lovely lady and greets you with the warmth of a grandmother, happy to welcome you in with a cup of hot tea! Breakfast was a scrumptious homemade quiche and cherries jubilee! We look forward to returning!! "

"Stay here for our visit at MSU. The location was perfect for getting to MSU and sort of in the middle of town. We were able to explore Starkville easily and the staff was very helpful with advice and suggestions! Very clean and plenty of parking, couldn’t ask for more!"

"I’ve stayed here more than 8 months in this hotel and never had a problem. The other day I booked a couple of days and I got a non smoking room like usual and it was conjoined with a smoking room. The dude in the other room was smoking like a train and all the smoke kept coming in my room and giving me headaches. Went to staff to get my room changed and they said I’d have to wait till morning. Checked out and booked a different hotel. The lady who runs the desk is amazing and so kind,"

"We needed to book a room at this hotel at the last minute. The cleanliness was disappointing. The room was completely wet, so we spoke with the staff and requested another room. The hotel staff promised a room change, but it never happened during our three-day stay. There is no ventilation in the bathroom, and the steam makes the room even more humid. The bath towels were poor quality. There was a lot of noise in the breakfast area, but the breakfast itself was good."
