"Beautifully located on Lake Ainsley. Steep walk down to shoreline, shallow entrance to the lake, perfect to use waders for fishing. Had lots of fun fishing in this lake and in the Whycocomagh area only 15min away.Tranquile and private setting. Lots of apples trees lining the driveway and mature birch, poplars and maple trees. Rabbits and many birds came to visit :)"

"Everything about our stay was incredible. The home worked perfect for our family and inlaws. No one wanted to leave after our 5 night stay. The home was beautifully decorated and we head everything we needed and more. Mike was a great host and very accommodating which we greatly appreciated traveling across the country and visiting Cape Breton for the first time. We will be back and look forward to staying in this home again."

"The house was very clean and well stocked. Mike was great at giving all the necessary information required and was easy very responsive with communication. The town is great and full of friendly people. The nearby beach is a spectacular spot; my favourite so far. The location is perfect to go golfing, beaching, hiking, and sightseeing. "I loved everything about this beautiful spot! The apartment is laid out wonderfully, and it was fully equipped with everything we could want. The views were spectacular, whether it was sunny or raining. We really enjoyed all interesting scupltures on the ground, abd even a visit by the owners' enormously fluffy cat. "This large property was perfect for our sibling reunion (group of 7). Loved the number of bedrooms to choose from, each with their own ensuite. Linens and beds were lovely. "Cute , cozy little house with charm. Very clean. Communication was difficult at times but we were able to sort that out in the end. Door locks were old and didn't always work but that was fixed promptly as well as a leaking hot water tank that was also fixed during our stay. The host did her best to make our stay as comfortable as possibly given the unfortunate circumstance that occurred. "
