"Good stay overall—the house was clean and comfortable. I do wish there had been a couple of complimentary water bottles and some guidance on where to buy groceries. The area feels a bit isolated, and we couldn’t find any major grocery stores nearby. Since we drove in from Houston and were busy preparing for a wedding while juggling family responsibilities, we didn’t have much time to explore the area on our own."

"This was a very unique and awesome find! The hosts were quick to respond, had very clear instructions, expectations, and amenity details laid out. Speaking of amenities- having a place to stay that is only a walk out the front door away from a short trail to a dock on the lake, a well-equipped gym, and even sauna and cold plunge was really neat. We used the gym and it's variety of equipment and were able to get a good workout in. The drive to local eateries and stores was only about 10-15...

"This was not as advertised. There isn't a safe path to the water, and once you get there it looks post-apocolyptic at best thanks to the alligator gar skeletons and murky water. Also, this says it sleeps 4, but there's only a full size bed in the corner of the room. So it sleeps 2 uncomfortably close. We left shortly after we arrived."
