Our large family stayed in both sides of the cabin for a long weekend. The cabin was exactly as described and very clean on check in. The bedrooms worked out perfectly for each couple and our children loved the arcade games on the lower level which was great for them to stay in. Conveniently located for a walk to the park or downtown to shop/eat in West Jefferson.Kelly was very accommodating with a last-minute request and communicated throughout our stay. We look forward to staying here again!

My family and I stayed at the Drowsy Owl so we could have a winter get together in the mountains. We stayed in both sides of the cabin. It was great having all the room to spread out across both sides, but also good to have areas where we could spend family time together too. The cabin was super clean upon arrival and the check in process is really easy. Kelly is a great host and super quick in her response time. Everyone loved the beds as the mattresses were very comfortable.The two arcade games were a hit with the young ones and us older folks too. Check out process is a breeze. We look forward to coming back and staying here again soon.

This was our second time staying here and had a great experience both times. Most recently hosted family in town for a wedding and received multiple compliments on the house. Clean, accommodating, and walking distance to the heart of West Jefferson. We will stay here again!

Rented this place for a family Thanksgiving. It’s two townhouse style cabins under one roof. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and room to gather. It’s walking distance to the park and downtown West Jefferson. Great for a large family but still has privacy.

My family rented both sides of this duplex for Labor Day Weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The cabin was extremely clean, the beds were comfortable and it was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The location was right down the road within walking distance from downtown West Jefferson, which offers great little restaurants, bars, and shops. Also a great park for the kids was within walking distance. We appreciated the kid-friendly plates/cups, a pack-n-play and high hair so we didn’t have to bring all of that. Kelly was wonderful and very responsive!!! We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our weekend stay with a family of 10 in these awesome townhouses. We walked across the street to the park & playgrounds, enjoyed time on the porches and the kids loved the basement with all of the games. The townhouses were nicely decorated and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the popcorn and smores were a nice touch. We plan to be back!
