Beautiful house in magnificent location
We were in town to celebrate my son's college graduation, and stayed at this beautiful home about 30 minutes from Quinnipiac University. The house was very clean and the check in process was smooth. Stacie was extremely responsive to our inquiries, despite being on vacation in a different time zone. The sitting room area overlooked the Long Island sound, and the master bedroom and kitchen also had beautiful views. The house was stocked with some board games, and also outdoor games (Spikeball, KanJam, etc.) The beds were extremely comfortable as well! The weather wasn't cooperative, so we didn't get to visit the beach that was down the street, but I highly recommend this house and hope to stay here again in the future.

Exactly as advertised
Sometimes you stay somewhere and the actual accomodations don't live up to the pictures online. Not the case here. This property is every bit as nice and clean as the photos make it appear. The downstairs is a very spacious, open layout. From the kitchen you can see all the way to the front windows. The bedrooms are very comfortable. Upstairs bathroom is large. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Seriously, no one in our party had a single complaint. Didn't need to contact Mike and Stacie for any issues but exchanged a few updates with each other and never had a problem reaching them. I recommend this property very highly. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect Vacation Spot
This home is beautiful and looks directly out to the water. We were 8 women celebrating our 70th birthday and the house couldn't have beem more suitable for us. Lots of open spaces and seating areas. After it stopped raining it was nice to be able to just cross the street and go for a walk on the beach. There were some many good restaurants and things to do in the area for our long weekend. We couldn't have picked a more perfect place, and Staci and Mike were great hosts.

Great time
The house was absolutely perfect! We had plenty of space for everyone and the accoutrements were perfect for our family. There were chairs and toys for the grandchildren and most importantly, the bed in the master was wonderful Can’t say enough about this property. We are not novice home renters and this was one of the best properties in which we have vacationed

Delightful Beach House for a Large Party
Stacie and Mike's home in West Haven was absolutely wonderful. The common area was perfect for hang outs with a large, modern kitchen and dining room to accommodate bigger parties. Watching the sunset from the large front windows was a wonderful experience. The back yard is a lovely spot with a grill and fire pit, assuming you can break away from the ocean view. Beds were comfortable and the upstairs master bedroom is especially gorgeous with its view of the beach. Speaking of the beach: it's an easy walk and was mostly vacant throughout our entire weekend. It can be a bit rocky in the water though so be mindful if you have any younger guests in your party. West Haven was lovely with close places to walk to, though word of warning for any vegetarian/vegans that your selections will be a bit limited. This is more of a pizza/seafood town. If you're planning a stay in West Haven, I'm not sure you can come up with a better spot, both for its location or its quality. Hands down one of the nicer places I've ever stayed.

Perfect location!
We can to town for our daughters graduation from New Haven! This place was the perfect location and distance from everything we wanted to do! Sad we could only stay for 2 days but definitely enjoyed the house! We travel a lot and this was the most inviting and well stocked place we’ve ever visited! We made all of our meals at the house for the weekend and the kitchen had everything we could have needed and more! 5 stars for sure!

October stay
We stayed at this house in October. The weather was nice and we were able to take a couple of walks on the beach. It was also really convenient since New Haven was a quick 20 min drive away. We got to walk around the city and then relax by the beach. There was plenty of space for everyone. The owners were good with responses.

Wonderful Weekend in West Haven
We had a great weekend and enjoyed our stay. A wonderful location , on the water in West Haven, very close to New Haven and Yale. House is bright clean and comfortable. Stacie and Mike great hosts. This is our second year year rent for us, we plan to come back!

Beautiful house
The perfect getaway home. It easily accommodated my family with two small children. Lots of space to move throughout the rooms. The sun room was stunning during sunrise and sunset each day. The fire pit was a nice touch to outdoor gathering. The hosts were accessible as we had questions about different things in the home. Additionally, the hosts recommended nice restaurants to dine with my family. Overall, we truly enjoyed our relaxing vacation at this home.

Beautiful newly furnished home!!
All new interior and furnishings. They thought of everything. Nice outdoor fireplace. Room for 5 cars. The Ocean is a few hundred feet away, right in front of you. We found Hermit crabs, a blue crab, large snails. I’ll be back.

Perfect vacation house
I stayed here with cousins. 6 in total. It was amazing, plenty of space, a nicely equipped kitchen for cooking. The view from house is so nice!! Hosts were very responsive and the welcome info is great. Would happily come back!!

We absolutely loved the house! It was exactly the space we needed for our family reunion!
Mike and Stacie are very gracious hosts and were always available to help make our stay perfect! The house and backyard were so inviting and comfortable, especially in the afternoon. The beach is being close was perfect for all the grandkids. They couldn’t get enough of it! Thank you, Mike and Stacie, we’d love to come back for another stay!

Wedding week in hometown
We stayed here for 7 days for.my daughter's wedding. The homeowners were wonderful and available when we had questions. The house was beautiful and the rooms were perfect for our extended family. I would recommend this home to anyone looking in the Milford/WestHaven area. I will definitely reconsider if I ever need that space to accommodate my children and I when coming back to visit family.

Winter stay
it was a very nice, comfortable home with a beautiful view. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking a Christmas dinner away from home. we enjoyed the tv/technology to be able to stream music. the neighborhood was great for morning runs.

Thanksgiving week
Our family of 6 loved spending Thanksgiving in this gorgeous house. As other reviews mention, it is even more beautiful than the photos suggest. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the light streams into the house. We really enjoyed the kitchen and dining area that has tons of room to gather and cook with family - including two ovens! Stacie and Mike were wonderful to work with too. We hope to return soon!

Perfect Beach House
The pictures don’t do this property justice. It was more beautiful than I expected. The water views were great, and being able to see the sunrise every morning over the water directly in front of the house was amazing. I almost didn’t rent this one because it was across the street from the water, but I’m so happy we did. It was perfect. The layout of the house was great and the beds were so comfortable. Communication with the owners was timely and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

Reunion in New Haven
We had a group of friends coming back to New Haven for an alumni event. We wanted to share a house so we could spend the maximum time together. This house was perfect. It is lovely, updated, clean, beautiful location and the owners were great to work with. They were responsive, helpful and gracious. We plan to book again next year when we come back. gorgeous spacious home
I rented this home the day before & of my wedding so my myself, my mom and bridesmaids could spend the night and all get ready together. The house was gorgeous!!! Lots of room, I absolutely loved the master bedroom waking up to see the ocean. The owners of the home communicated quickly and were friendly. Everything was perfect :)

Love the view!
Stacie was very responsive whenever we had questions. The house is very nice, with an open concept first floor. The sunroom has beautiful water views. We spent lots of time out there, just relaxing and looking at the water. There's also a good size rear deck and backyard. We liked the fact that we could park in the rear. That's an easy way in and out. The master bedroom upstairs is large, as is the upstairs bathroom. We loved the kitchen and upstairs bathroom skylights, also. The house has lots of child-friendly amenities, such as a back yard, stepstools to reach bathroom sinks, a low toilet in downstairs bathroom, etc. Be careful with younger children, though. There is a step up from entryway to dining room, as well as a step down from LR to sunroom. There's plenty of drawer space throughout, but the master BR has no closet space for guests' use. Other than that and being unable to unlock master BR french doors to access the upstairs balcony, it was awesome. Overall we had a great time and want to return.

Thanks for the kind words, Carol. We checked out the French doors on the balcony upstairs. The heat/humidity led to the wood swelling and caused the bottom of the door to stick. It’s part of the “problem” of being so close to the ocean. :) We made some adjustments and the door opens freely now. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank your understanding, along with being such a great guest!

Nice Beach House
A very roomy beach house with plenty of space for all 9 of us. Newly remodeled from top to bottom, beautiful kitchen area. Large back lawn with a firepit and plenty of room for playing.

What a gem! Loved the View!
My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks and loved it! The home is clean and furniture is new. Great WiFi. Large main bedroom and the bathroom upstairs is really nice. The bathroom downstairs is nice as well. The other bedrooms are spacious. The location is across the street from the beach and the view of the water from the home is so nice. The backyard is great for entertaining. Loved the fire pit and new deck. Great location. Close to restaurants and bars. Try the Dive Bar which is about a mile down the street towards Milford. Great food and drink. Also, if you like pizza, try Lombardi’s in West Haven. It is about 2 miles down the road towards New Haven. Of course Modern and Pepe’s is a short drive to get to. We were so sad to leave!

Location could have been more friendly
The house was amazing, clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The owners were helpful and easy to work with. The proximity to the beach was very convenient. We did have some issues with getting enough towels for our party of 10. In the end, we were issued an additional cleaning fee due to extra towels (we had one per guest) and trash / recycling removal which wasn’t due for pick up until after our departure. Also, the neighborhood wasn’t vacation rental friendly which was a disappointment as it made hanging out outside feel uncomfortable.

Nice house, comfortable furnishings
Great house, comfortable beds and couch, nice kitchen, open floor plan downstairs, lots of natural light. Unobstructed view of Long Island Sound. Good location. Owners communicate well. We really liked our stay here; the house was perfect for our needs. Ocean Av can be noisy (loud engines) but that's beyond the control of the owners. Otherwise, this is a great property.

Family get away
This home is beautiful and looks directly out to the water. It is immaculate but still comfortable with an open concept. At one point we had 3 of our adult children, their spouses & 5 grandchildren that ranged from 7 -19. Everyone had fun, there is a big dining room table where we played cards and "spoons", while others cooked. We couldn't have picked a more perfect place, even though it rained the entire week!
