"Good food and drink at the pub that is separate from the accommodation. Slight problem on check in as they had given us a double room instead of a twin, despite sending an email prior to arrival requesting a twin. Staff shortages meant it was a while before the bed situation was sorted but we were in the bar by then so not really an issue. The receptionist was apologetic and keen to resolve the issue so bonus points to her."

"Staff were friendly who we saw.
Very limited parking even street parking is limited due to permits needed.
No breakfast even though it stated breakfast.
Rooms could do with an update.
Bar area is nice to have a drink and can imagine in the summer would be a great place "

"Great location, bar and restaurant staff were friendly, bar and restaurant area was decorated fabulously for Halloween.
The room unfortunately had a lingering smell from what I believe were the drains in the bathroom. Check in was not particularly warm or welcoming. Room decor feels out of place with the history of the building."
