Let the reviews speak for themselves...so many happy guests!!!

A great place to relax and enjoy peace and tranquility while taking in the perpetual sounds of the ocean waves! This is a real island vacation villas. Palm trees on the beach, a beach that is never crowded, swimming pool in adjacent courtyard, roosters crowing on occasion, a long shoreline running into Barkers State Park for scenic walks, and West Bay; local island experience.

This is not a busy, box-hotel on Seven Mile Beach; no cars whizzing by either. A roomy, one bedroom condo with a king size bed, central a/c, granite counters in kitchen, stainless steel appliances, refrigerator with ice maker, full size oven, microwave, crock pot, toaster oven, dishwasher, in-unit washer/dryer, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, smart TV, Apple TV, cable TV, beach towels, linens, a few pool toys, on premises BBQ grill, blender for your island drink creations along with patio furniture to sit and enjoy an up close ocean view while listening to the lazy tide roll in. Ahhhh!

Calls to and from USA are free. Magic Jack phone in the unit.

Cayman law; every rental must provide a "meet/greet" person and that person is Julie. She will greet you when you arrive and open the doors and give you a tour of the property. Any questions you may have she will be there to assist not only when you arrive but throughout your stay. She is also in charge of housekeeping and she knows almost everything about the Pappagallo and the island! Need a rental car? I have a few options.

Stroll out to the end of the dock and relax while taking in the ocean. Take a walk down the beach into Barkers State Park, star gaze, check out the swimming pool or walk "37 steps to the beach".
Decisions, decisions...so much for "nothing to do"!!

Parrot 6 was just what we were looking for! Located as described, 37 steps from a very quiet, private beach! Our ground floor unit was spacious with a completely outfitted kitchen. The King bed was comfortable, the upgraded closet is what you would find in a 5 star hotel. The host was very accommodating with every bit of information you would ever need for both your lodging and the Island in general! We could not have enjoyed our experience more!

This was the most perfect stay we have ever had when traveling! I have never seen a condo as clean as this one, and cleanliness is a top priority for me and something I value the most where I stay. The kitchen had everything we needed, all appliances worked as expected, the washer and dryer were so convenient. Greg, the owner, is very responsive as well as Julie. Check in was so easy. Julie met us there to let us in and teach us how to work the lock etc. The king size bed is so comfortable. I say that even having major back problems. The couch and reclining chair in the living room are of perfect comfort. The outdoor patio furniture is well made and comfortable as well. The atmosphere is light and stress free. The condo is beautiful not only on the inside but the outside too. It is so close to the beach! Bring your water shoes if you plan to get in the ocean because it’s very rocky. My husband snorkeled right off the pier. I was usually the only person on the beach. So serene. The pool was the perfect temp. There is a horse ride excursion that comes through there on the beach. But it’s pretty and not disruptive. This condo is on a side of the island that is not crowded. I loved that. It didn’t take long to get to restaurants and other places we visited while there. 100% recommend and we will undoubtedly be going back! Thank you so much Greg and Julie!

Beautiful and Peaceful

Parrot 6 is a lovely property located on West Bay. It was quiet and peaceful (away from the busy tourist areas) and provided the perfect getaway for relaxation. The outdoor porch, pool, and private beach were all great amenities. Greg was very responsive and provided wonderful suggestions and recommendations. The condo is in immaculate condition, and Julie and her team do a great job cleaning and maintaining the property. Julie was so gracious and courteous in meeting us upon arrival. We will definitely book again. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise!

The Parrot 6 was outstanding, exactly as advertised. The view from the living room was fantastic and a great way to wake up each day! Being extremely close to the ocean was also a huge plus. The on-property pool was undersold! It was wonderful, big, and a great way to unwind in the heat of the day. The location was great, in a quiet part of the island. We rented a car, so it was not an issue for us. Great dinner options in the West Bay were less than 10 minutes away.Highly recommend this place. It was in great condition, very clean, and just made our vacation even better.

Had a very quiet and relaxing stay at this location, it was very beautiful and comfortable and it really was 37 steps to the beach! If you are looking for something to sit back on the beach and avoid the crowds this is for you.

Beautiful and quiet retreat

Literally steps away from the ocean. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The unit was clean with all the amenities. The kitchen had everything you’d need for eating in, however the toaster oven didn’t work. There’s an excellent restaurant across the street. The wifi worked great. While the TV has cable for viewing, having a roku device for streaming would be nice. There’s no lack of outdoor chaise and chairs on the beach and by the pool. This is a gorgeous, peaceful and relaxing place to unwind. We would definitely come back to this location again.

Beautiful Location

We just finished a wonderful stay at this property on Grand Cayman. Villa Pappagallo is just great. It is right on the ocean in a quiet part of the island. we enjoyed coffee on the beach each morning. This was our second time at this location and we would stay here again without question.

Wonderful!

We had a great time! Easy check-in process, place was super clean and well layed out. Property is amazing and the beach is wonderful and generally very quiet. Nice pool is a bonus! Would recommend a car as it's a bit away from most of the tourist type stuff....which we didn't mind.

Great Location for a Quiet Stay

This is a second time at Parrot 6 and our third time at Villas Pappagallos. The location is perfect with the exception of the water (not the beach itself) which tends to be rough and and somewhat rocky - I rarely see anyone swimming. The pool is nice (though unheated) and the entire place is peaceful and beautiful.The unit itself is very clean and complete. The king bed is very comfortable. There are a few "asks" that I have that would be nice: - a couple of beach chairs and an umbrella as most of the swimming beaches have little shade. We bought and left a couple of chairs from our last visit but they seem to have disappeared. - a single-serving coffee maker (Keurig or Nespresso) as a 12-cup drip isn't very useful for a couple where only one drinks coffee.One weird thing to be aware of, and I guess this can happen anywhere in the Caribbean - we became aware of a Tsunami alert one evening. The same thing happened the last time we stayed on Grand Caymen. Just bad luck but make sure that you know what to do (e.g. move inland) in case of such an alert.

Quiet Getaway...

The West Bay location is away from the main tourist areas. If you're looking for traffic noise and people, this is not your place. We enjoyed our breakfast and coffee on the beach, and a glass of wine in the evening. The pool is nice but we didn't use it. . A rental car

Awesome property and great location to get away from hustle and bustle of 7 mile beach. Last few days we just hung out and enjoyed the pool and solitude. Greg and Julie were great responding to few issues. We will be back!

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stayed at Parrot 6, the condo was clean, well equipped with kitchen essentials, the bed was extremely comfortable & the location was great. The grounds & the pool are very well kept, the view of the ocean from the condo was lovely & the beach was just a few steps out the front door. Being in this location gave us a quiet retreat away from some of the busier areas of the island while still being just a quick 10-15min drive away, I would recommend having a car if you plan to stay in this area. Overall great accommodations, I would stay here again if we have the chance to return to Grand Cayman!

Great condo

The condo and facility was fantastic. Just as advertised and how it looked in the pictures. It was off the beaten path and quiet, also as advertised. The only downfall about the location for me was that we couldn't go in the ocean right off the beach at the condo. Maybe we were there at a bad time, but it was so windy and the water was so choppy and rough, it wasn't inviting. We didn't see anyone in the water there our four day stay. It was so windy that even sitting on the beach or by the pool was tricky (towels blowing away, hair whipping in our face, books hard to keep open, etc). With that said, we had a car and were able to go to another beach, Cemetery Beach and it was lovely, calm breeze, clear water. The condo was a fantastic home base with everything we needed to feel comfortable for the week. Communication was easy and clear. I would stay here again.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The condo is lovely and the view is amazing. The condo complex is very quiet, hardly anyone at the beach or pool. The beach is gorgeous and the palm trees provide some shade. The ocean entry here is rocky so not a place for wading in the water. My husband went down the dock ladder and used a floaty to float for a while and enjoyed that. Someone was snorkeling, too. Absolutely peaceful. It was a short drive to Cemetery Beach and Governor's beach, which were lovely. The accomodations were very comfortable, too. My only small comment for improvement is that the beach chairs provided weren't really beach chairs, rather sports chairs. Not great for relaxing on the beach and there really isn't anywhere to rent or buy chairs. The beach umbrella was also small and lightweight and didn't provide much sun protection. Grand Cayman is just lovely and I would return in an instant!
