"Mediocre breakfast "

"This place was far from my destination but after arriving in Pittsburgh on a hockey and football night there was nowhere else to stay. Drove an hour to another hotel that I had booked only to be told they didn’t have a room for me, then another 40 minutes to Triadelphia and the staff were kind and welcoming. Got a good nights sleep and drove the hour back to Pittsburgh. The place is a little dated but it worked just fine in a jam and the breakfast was a nice perk."

"No pool time for me it being October. I came to meet up with friends the next day at Oglebayfest in Wheeling, and found this hotel quite handy. I grew up in the valley even though I live 3 hours away now. I remember when it was a Holiday Inn. Not sure if you get the customer traffic to support this thought, but the site does look a little outdated, although nice and clean. The Front desk people were efficient and friendly/helpful. "Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Wheeling at the Highlands is a great place to stay. Very clean property, friendly and helpful staff. The room was very comfortable and was fully equipped to meet our needs. Whenever we're in town, Hawthorn Suites at Wheeling, will definitely be our preferred choice."
