"The made a nonrefundable CHARGE (not deposit) for the second room key, despite there were two adults staying in the room. Outrageous. The staff were all polite and I noted that they were following an unconscionable policy that would mean that I would not return unless notified that this policy had been amended. "This place is truly a hidden gem. Close to downtown for the restaurants and activities, but in a nice neighborhood. So much here, beautiful rooms and even a big backyard. The comman areas are delightful, and our room was even better. Enjoyed the big soaker tub with the jets."

"The room was run down and in need of repairs. There was a foul odor in the toilet. The towel bar in the shower was missing. The walls in the shower were caked with accumulated soap film and were unclean. In the lavatory area, there was a portion of the wall where something had been attached (probably a hand soap dispenser) to the wall but was torn off leaving broken hole in the drywall. "Was a nice place to stay.
The property was set away from the major traffic on a service road, which was a plus for privacy and noise. The front desk was attentive to requests for an extra coffee packet and sugar.
Room was clean, bed was clean, shower and facilities were clean.
(I have a blood, urine light that exposes unclean surfaces)- a good thing to have when staying at a hotel.
If I ever have to stay in Shreveport, LA. again, this will be one I will consider.

"We arrived very late in the evening and the gentleman on duty was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The ambiance was unique and pleasant after a long day of driving. We had to leave early, so we didn’t have the opportunity to take advantage of the extra amenities."

"When i went to breakfast still way before serving stopped, most of the containers were empty. The staff person advised she would be refillling.
