Hello and welcome to the Strandiris. This quietly located apartment is on the first floor of a small, two-story townhouse. The Strandiris is approximately 50 square meters in size and has its own parking space. The neighborhood here in Wenningstedt is characterized by single-family homes. It’s not far from here to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Children naturally feel at home in all of the island’s towns—no wonder, since Sylt boasts the world’s largest sandbox with over 40 kilometers of fine sandy beach—but Wenningstedt has made a name for itself as a family destination. In winter, an ice rink is set up right on the cliff, next to the futuristic and unmissable Gosch-Palast; in summer, beach volleyball is played there; and year-round, Sylt4Fun provides even more fun at the Norddörferhalle with a bouldering wall, trampoline, scooter course, and other rotating attractions.
