The distance to the sandy beach is approx. 1.5 km. The beach promenade with restaurants, cafes, bars (disco in the evening) is approx. 2 km away. The nearest public swimming pool with a 50 m pool is 10 km away. The town centre with shopping facilities (supermarkets, bakeries, clothes shops, jewellers......) is about 2km away. There are a variety of excursion possibilities such as close to us some Buddhist temples, the Blue Hole, the Portuguese fortress Galle Fort, the Sinharaja Rainforest, a turtle farm, the Koggala Lake, city tours (Galle), all-day tours to the Yala National Park or Udawalawe National Park or even multi-day round trips to get to know Sri Lankan culture and history.
