"The place was clean and comfortable. Was expecting it to be more of a country setting, not right in town with other properties very close. We noticed an odor coming from the laundry room/bath area. It could have been stale water in the washing machine hoses? The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the satellite TV since it rained most of the day on Saturday."

"This was our second year staying in the train cars at Doolittle Station. Last year, we stayed in the Blue Caboose and this year in The Artiste. We prefer the Blue Caboose hands down over the Artiste. Cleaner, better laid out, and better stocked. In the layout of The Artiste, you walk into the living room, into the bathroom, then into the bedroom, and finally the kitchen. "We really loved staying in the presidential car, you can tell just how much care and work has gone into the life of this car, the attached bathroom was so beautiful. Truly an amazing job.Our pain point was the amenities on site, our plan was to get in and stay at the park all day. But the restaurant was closed, the mini golf was a bit sad and hard to walk, we gave up before the 9th hole. The ice-cream store was musty and the food options were disappointing.
