"The home is beautiful and well appointed. Everything was in working order. The neighborhood is quiet, walkable, and near to the lake and embassies. We had some trouble on the day of arrival - directions were sent regarding check in about an hour prior to the check in time, and only after I reached out to the host to request them. The house did not seem fully cleaned - there were leftover food items in the refrigerator and freezer, trash in the kitchen bin (which also reeked of cigarette...

"Highly recommend this 2x1 house which has everything you could possibly need for any amount of time. We were surprised how big this place was inside. Each bedroom has either a queen or king bed, semi ensuite, massive lounge area and great kitchen, dining area and lovely little patio out the back. The owner was very friendly and quick with replies. "Spacious with a very nice location and great view of the lake. It's missing key kitchen items like drinking glasses, salt and pepper, cooking oil and cleaning supplies that would have made our stay more comfortable. Could have used a few extra towels and maybe some blackout blinds for the rooms that get a lot of light due to the nice large windows that walk out to the balconies. Overall a really good stay for a large group. The host was great with check-in times and communication."

"This property was an absolute disaster. It was old and shabby in the extreme. We had to leave immediately upon arrival as there was an awful smell inside. I discovered the source of the smell in a kitchen bin which had not been emptied. It contained a rotting dog bone and meat offcuts covered in maggots. The owner refused to take responsibility for it and refused to refund us, making every excuse under the sun why he could not. The entire property was old, every surface covered in dust, dirt and...

"The house was a great size that accommodated our family of 7 adults, 3 children and a baby. We were attending a family event in Canberra. The heating was marvellous and made the house snug. There was plenty of things like toilet rolls, soap dishwashing liquid and tablets. A bit dated in areas and the shower in the ensuite was leaking.Living area doesn’t have enough seating for 14 people unless you want to sit at dining table all evening.But beds were comfortable and clean and there was sufficient bedding and blankets for everyone. Kitchen was well equipped. Check in process was easy and overall made for a very enjoyable stay "
