Luxurious Mountain Retreat for the Discerning Traveler

The beauty and serenity of the western North Carolina Mountains never fails to fill visitors with joy and peace. We purchased our own three acres of heaven and built a luxurious Guest House so we can share the mountain experience with you.

The Guest House sleeps 4 with two queen beds. The house has been designed for maximum relaxation and pampering. Situated on the bold creek that runs through the property, every room opens onto a 46ā€™ covered deck that overlooks the creek. You can open large sliding glass doors to let the relaxing sound of the creek fill the house or wander out onto the deck to enjoy the fresh mountain air and sunshine.

Careful consideration went into every aspect of our Guest House accommodations. There are two comfortable master bedroom suites with inviting private baths. Relax in the central great-room in front of an evening fire. The gourmet kitchen with cherry cabinets, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops is a weekend chefā€™s delight!

We have furnished and outfitted the Guest House to please even the most discerning traveler. You will enjoy comfortable queen beds with smooth linens and full pillows. Large ensuite baths with soft towels and complimentary soaps and shampoos. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make a romantic dinner, hearty breakfast or picnic lunch to take on a hike. The living room has comfortable seating in front of a wood-burning fireplace and large, Smart TV. Out on the deck, there are relaxing rockers where you can put your feet up and enjoy a good book. For summer nights, there is a great fire pit situated in a bend of the creek.

While The Guest House offers a peaceful and private retreat, it is close to everything that makes western North Carolina so appealing as a vacation getaway. Outdoor adventures abound. Take an invigorating hike or rafting trip, a leisurely walk around Lake Junaluska or experience zip-lining through the scenic forest. Enjoy casual or upscale dining and delightful shopping in charming downtown Waynesville, just five minutes away. Drive 30 minutes to Asheville for more dining and shopping opportunities or to visit the always incredible Biltmore Estate.

The house is easily accessible and available year-round. We invite you to relax and re-energize at our North Carolina Guest House. Weā€™re sure you will fall in love with the magic of these glorious mountains!

My mother and I thought that this was perfect. Mom wished that we could transport the house and surroundings to every destination we traveled to. It was the perfect size for us. The house was close to everything. The home came with high standard items. Going to sleep and waking up next to a stream I cannot find enough words to describe the serene setting. Peg was very accommodating from the check-in to any questions we had along the way. We would most definitely stay here again

The house was well furnished and fully equipped for a most comfortable stay. The creek babbled, lending an air of serenity and peacefulness to the atmosphere. The town itself was easily reachable and had all the amenities one would need for a hassle-free replenishment of any essentials. Other than a few periods of rain we and the couple we were with found all the relaxation we needed. We had planned to do some fishing but never found an easily fishable spot. The weather in general was great. All in all we truly enjoyed ourselves and would consider returning to the house again, particularly during the fall leaf season. The Waynesville area was bucolic. Would love to know more about the Huge home we saw near the Palisades Apartments. Definite change from the hustle and bustle of urban life.

We loved everything! If we could change anything, it would be a little closer to entertainment. It rained almost every day so the outdoor ā€œfunā€ was very limited (not anyoneā€™s fault)! The cabin was clean, neat, and tidy. It was also peaceful! A great place to rejuvenate, gather, rest, eat, etc!! Would definitely recommend!!

Magical Setting in a Luxurious Home The pictures do not the outdoors, creek and home justice. We spent 3 comfortable and relaxing nights listening to the rushing waters just 20 feet from the back porch.

My sister and I swept our mom away for her 81st birthday! This by far exceeded our expectations. This property was a literal piece of heaven. We were able to disconnect from all of the day-to-day stresses of every day life and just be! The Guest House was immaculate! My wife and I spent a wonderful Valentineā€™s weekend at the Guest House. Peg was an amazingly responsive host before, during and after our visit! The house is beautiful, well decorated, and equipped with all one could need for their trip. The real show stopper is the natural beauty of the environment! Although I had seen the pictures online we were in awe of the sight and sound of the amazing creek. We are already planning a return visit this summer!

Stayed at many VRBO properties around the world. This is one of the most peaceful and relaxing of them all! The property is very clean, well equipped with EVERYTHING you need to relax and enjoy the creek and property. Perfectly located to hiking, shopping, exploring and just plain relaxing. Peg, the property manager is awesome and has great communication with us. Too many good things to say in one paragraph. I WILL visit this property again. You will not be disappointed at all with this HIDDEN TREASURE in the Mountains.

A beautiful view of a stream with a peaceful flowing water. Nice big porch to rest and enjoy the beauty. Perfect place to reset and forget the cares of the world. I would recommend this location to everyone!

Could not have ask for a nicer place to vacation nor a nicer property manager! Peg and her husband were the best! This place was so comfortable in every way. The large porch had a secure railing around making it nice for you and your pets to be able to enjoy the outside. Step outback to a fairly private backyard with a beautiful babbling creek! The sound was so restful, making for a totally relaxing and romantic evening! Lots to see and do, great places to eat! All within a very short driving distance. Canā€™t go wrong with this unit!
