Pleasant quiet place
Great place for a quiet beach stay to have a big beach to yourself. I would plan to bring more food to cook next trip due to not having the best food options nearby.

Great stay as usual
We love the comfort and amenities at the property. We always come back to stay here whenever we can. The property has everything we need and is clean. I would recommend to anyone but I also want to keep it for ourselves. Thank you Paul.

Great place for a quiet getaway
I’ve been renting houses and condos at Pajaro Dunes for over 40 years and this was by far one of the cleanest and well stocked. It’s on the quiet side (Pelican Point) and a great place to relax and disconnect from work (or connect if you need to as well!) we totally enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful location and view
The pictures on VRBO do not entirely do justice to the beauty of the location or the amazing view from the main room and the deck. The condo had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

Loved this Location
We really enjoyed our stay. The location with both River and Ocean views was wonderful, especially during some heavy winter storms. We were warm and cosy inside, and the beach was easily accessible for long walks between storms. The condo was comfortable and was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. Would stay again.

Wonderful Stay!
My husband, and 2 month old son had a wonderful stay here over the Thanksgiving weekend! The place was great, had everything we needed, and was clearly well taken care of.

Spectacular views of sunrise and pelicans
Wonderful experience. Condo was recently renovated. Views of Watsonville slough and ocean beyond. Lots of birds inckuding over 1000 pelucans, 2 golden eagles, geese, ducks, and many more. House has everything you need.

Comfortable condo with well equipped kitchen
This property is about 50 years old and shows it on the outside! Inside the unit is a different story as it has been remodeled very nicely. While we were there it was overcast and foggy so the fireplace was much appreciated. The kitchen had everything you would need for eating in and it was a good thing as there aren’t any restaurants near by. We did have trouble with the TV and the owner was quick to respond, but we never could get the regular channels (Haystack news, Samsung programs, Hulu, Peacock etc and movies were available but not the local channels). Maybe it was a Spectrum problem. One thing that seemed to be missing were pictures on the walls. The beds were comfortable and clean. The view of the slough and all the birds was great but from the outside patio you are looking right at the decks of the people in the adjoining building. One other thing, a BBQ was listed but due to Homeowner’s restrictions it has been removed.

So relaxing,
The condo is well stocked with necessities. It is remote enough to be very peaceful and right on the ocean and inlet bird refuge to watch as well. Close enough to Carmel, Monterey, Pacific Grove and Aptos, Capitola, and Santa Cruz too.

Holiday weekend beach getaway
Condo was very nice, clean, and as pictured. Check-in was easy. Condo just a short path walk to the beach. Parjaro Dunes was a super cute community and I appreciated that it was gated. Livingroom was perfect for family time. My family consist of 2 adults 1 teenager (17), 2 toddlers and 1 kid. I wish there were more towels but the washer and dryer was the solve for that.

WELL APPOINTED CONDO WITH WONDERFUL VIEW
Paul's condo is a real gem in this community. Great view from living room and balcony. Short walk to the beach. It's very well stock with basic amenities so showing up with your personal belongings and groceries is really all you need to do. I would book again without hesitation.

Perfect beach getaway
Pajaro dunes is the perfect place to getaway from it all, and I mean all. Once you enter Pajaro Dunes, you are essentially isolated from the "real world" which is amazing for a few days. Plan ahead with groceries, etc and you never have to go into Watsonville. Enjoy the beach all day everyday. The condo backed up to the dunes, the ocean and an amazing slough which was home to hundreds of birds. The condo came equipped with beach chairs and towels, so all you have to do is walk a few steps and you are on the beach. Our son was in heaven as he could grab his beach toys and run to the beach whenever he wanted. Highly recommend this place.

Wonderful experience in a beautiful location
Had a wonderful time at this lovely place in a wonderful location. Nicely appointed condo was just what we needed for our stay in the Monterey area. It’s close to Santa Cruz and Monterey and the beach is as beautiful as you could hope. Our kids had a ball collecting “treasures on the beach” and splashing in the (chilly) waters. We’d definitely recommended (and already have) to our friends and family.

The Ocean
The property was clean and well stocked. We were a bit disappointed that it was not really on the ocean and found that the ocean was visible through only one window. The description was a bit misleading on that point. We enjoyed the space in the unit. It allowed for privacy and area for working and relaxing.

Very Nice Getaway
This is a great location if you want to be between Monterey and Santa Cruz/San Francisco. You are right on the Pacific Ocean, and you can see the ocean from the property. The owner was excellent in communicating with us if we had questions while we stayed. We will stay again.

Another wonderful stay!
We keep coming back to this wonderful location because we love spending our days on the beach and spending our evenings getting cozy and comfortable inside this lovely condo. We also appreciate the clear and considerate communication with the owners, as well as the reliable Wi-Fi when we have to work remotely. I’m sure we will be back again!

Bird beach
The property at the end of Pajaro Dunes, Pelican Point, is one that should be on everyone's bucket list! The two bedroom apartment with a spacious combined kitchen dining living room looks out over the mouth of Pajaro river and down the long sandy beaches of Monterey Bay towards Moss Landing and Elkhorn Slough. All visible through the large view windows. The beach, just a stone's throw from the apartment, is a broad soft sand one. The apartment has a full set of amenities, and we appreciated the modern BBQ on the back porch, out of the evening breeze.

Property was lovely with a spectacular view of the dunes. Beach sunsets are a quick walk from unit Check in was smooth with explicit and simple to call directions. Kitchen is well stocked and we cooked several meals in the unit. Will highly recommend to friends

Loved it all.
We loved the property and location. The owner was quick to respond to our questions. We enjoyed beautiful beach walks at low tide, were entertained by the the many beach birds, loved hearing the pounding surf, and even enjoyed a great storm that closed the exit road. We will stay here again if we get back to Monterey Bay!

Perfect for our little family getaway! Unit is cute. Beach is close. Weather was perfect. We had the beach to ourselves most days. We loved this complex. We will definitely be back. We usually to go to Aptos for our beach vacations, but we liked this better!

Beautiful condo, wonderful appointments, super comfy beds. Telescope with floor to ceiling windows is definitely a bonus! Marvelous view of Pelican Point & Moss Landing. Beach access is just down the boardwalk. It was a perfect stay! Don't hesitate to book!

Repeat stay- this property is great
This is our second time at Pelican 64. The owners are great, very responsive and accommodating. The property itself is very quiet and family friendly. This is a place to go and “chill” ( literally- always a nice cool marine breeze) and read a book, play on the beach or surf fish. The property is well maintained. There was a slight issue were cleaning people overlooked a fee minor things. They owner had them on site within 15 min of letting him know. Thats how hosts should treat guests! We will stay again!

A great experience for my family.
We enjoyed the last week of the kids' summer break here. It's such a nice place, well stocked with everything, with great views of the river and the ocean. The kids are already looking forward to coming back next summer.

Great getaway week
Great condo for a getaway week. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. Easy access to the beach and a nice view. Also a nice deck for having a morning cup of coffee. Short drive into town for restaurants and grocery stores. I would definitely rent this unit again.

Enjoyed our stay
Loved the proximity to the beautiful and quiet beach and watching the pelicans in the river. Close to Monterey/Carmel and Santa Cruz. Plenty of towels, overall clean, but could use a new shower curtain. The kitchen had what we needed but was low on glasses, silverware etc. Was happy to enjoy Nespresso away from home. The living room was nice with good TV options and nice deck. Would stay again and recommend.

Thank you for your great review. During covid we put glasses, flatware and extra items away. Perhaps it’s time to break them out again. We just replaced the shower liner. Thank you.

Right on the beach
Great condo right on the beach. Quiet area with few people. We enjoyed the deck, grill, and TV for watching the Olympics, and it was wonderful having a washer and dryer after a day at the beach. Would definitely come back to stay.

Great Getaway
Pajaro Dunes is the perfect getaway with a clean, quiet beach, bird watching, and nice paths to walk along. We loved our stay in this condo, which had some really nice updates and touches. The owner was wonderful and very responsive.

Lovely Stay
We spent a week here. BEDS were very comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. Access to the beach and a great view of many of the local bird species including the California brown pelican. We will be back.
