Wonderful location!

Our recent stay was so easy and enjoyable. The location cannot be beat. We lived in the area around 15 years ago and wanted to share our favorite spots with our children, while also doing the touristy DC stuff. Half way between the river and the Metro was perfect for us. The place itself is so cute and clean. There were 4 of us and the girls said the pull out couch was comfortable. We arrived late due to flight delays and had no issue getting in and getting settled. The host was quick to respond if I had any questions. I would highly recommend it!

Amazing Property in the Heart of Old Town Alexandria: Great Location-Exactly as Advertised

Stayed at this Old Town Alexandria property for 4 night during Christmas week, while visiting relatives in the DC area over the Holidays. This property was exactly as advertised-no surprises! Right on King Street (but quiet) in the heart of Old Town, this property takes up the entire 2nd floor of a charming historic 2-story residence, with a lovely retail store immediately below. Spacious, exceptionally appointed with a fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom & a half, very large master bedroom with comfortable queen bed & a pull-out sofa in the living room Large walk-in closet with washer & dryer. So much room & exceptionally remolded. Perfect for the two of us, but would also work well with two children or a 2nd couple on the pull-out sofa-bed. Just a block or two to numerous great restaurants, bars & antique shops. Two amazing pastry shops & clothing stores in the same block. A great Jewish deli & a fromagerie just a block away. The complimentary, reserved parking spot was so convenient & just a half block away. Easy access self-check in, dual door entrance. Very safe neighborhood. Owner/host, Jennifer, was just lovely & readily accessible in the event of any questions or issues. This was the perfect place to stay while in the DC area. Weā€™ll definitely be back to this charming apartment on our next trip to visit the relatives!

Beautiful apartment in a great location!

I stayed at this apartment to attend a week long class in Old Town. I quickly found out the location could not have been any better! It was right amongst all of the lovely shops and restaurants. The parking spot was super convenient as well. The apartment itself was clean as a whistle and appointed so nicely for my stay. I was thrilled with it. Thank you, Jennifer, for helping me with the parking on the first night as well. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to spend time in this lovely area!

Best Stay in Alexandria

This unit is on the second floor of an old building on King str. It has been totally rebuilt with all the modern fixtures and very tastefully decorated. Also, it comes with a dedicated parking spot included in the cost of the unit. We did not move our car for four days as everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance including the Metro to the District. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed super comfy. The owner was very responsive when we reported the coffee maker was not functioning. We had a new one the next morning including a bag of coffee. We will definately be back!

Great location and property. Just a few minor quirks.

My two sons and I had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is perfect for exploring Old Town Alexandria. There are several shops and restaurants nearby. The condo was very clean and nicely appointed. There is also a parking spot that is easy to access and just a short walk from the condo. There are just a few quirks to take into account: 1) The water pressure in the shower was very low, 2) the garbage or recycling truck arrived before 7am on both mornings of our stay and made quite a bit of noise directly underneath the bedroom window, 3) there is a very narrow set of stairs leading up to the condo, so if you have several bags it's very difficult to get them in the door and up to the unit. But, apart from these things we really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with our stay. We were two adults and 5 yo twins. The apartment is fully equipped and very clean. The location within Old Alexandria is just perfect, surrounded by cool shops and restaurants, and just blocks away from the metro station, which we used frequently to go to the museums in DC. I highly recommend this place. You wonā€™t be disappointed.

Fantastic location, charming apartment in Old Town Alexandria

The location and property were exactly as described and pictured. The apartment was clean and well appointed, a very comfortable residence to come back to after days of exploring the area. We cooked meals in the kitchen and also enjoyed several of the nearby restaurants and cafes. Highly recommend this for DC tourists, as well. The Metro station is about a ten-minute walk away, straight down King Street. We ordered a few Ubers/Lyfts, on occasions when we had a tighter time frame. Very convenient location for everything.

The host provided a great experience and a greay place to stay right in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. The convenience of having shops, restaurants, and the Metro line to access DC whenever we wanted was fantastic. It was great to have such a clean, beautiful place to stay with so many amenities. We would highly recommend this place to oir family and friends.

Great Property!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Pros: 1. Beautifully finished interior 2. Nice little touches in the property- Comfy bed linens, premium TP, kitchen dishware high-end, etc. 3. Location in downtown is 10 min. walking to the metro and in the heart of the shopping/dining of old town. 4. Even the pull-out sofa is a nice/high end piece, and my kids didn't complaint it was uncomfortable! 5. Reasonable price for this property given its location. Cons: 1. Since the property is downtown, it can be a bit noisy since there is an outdoor restaurant next door and there was a guy power washing in the ally outside our bedroom window(kinda funny actually, and it was 8 am so it wasn't really a problem!)

The Little Copperheadā€™s Birthday

We came to visit D.C. and chose to stay in Old Town. The walk to Landini Brothers (a must, i suggest booking on Open Table a few weeks out), down King Street, is breathtaking, with the lights on the trees and the crisp winter air. The condo was perfectly situated between Augieā€™s and the cutest Mexican restaurant, with a precious bakery across the street. It was surprisingly quiet in the apartment at night despite the thoroughness of King Street. The owner communicated, was kind, and left a binder of instructions for us to enjoy our stay. We had our six year old son (who just turned seven) and he enjoyed his stay as much as we did. However, with Murphyā€™s and a few other bars down further down the street, this would be a fun place for any age to stay. We took a short drive to the mall and visited the Natural History Museum, Air and Space, and visited the air and space museum from the Transformers movie also. Short commutes to each, and very easy to navigate with Old Town as our hub. Thank you for making our stay one to remember. We will definitely book with this owner again.

Great location centrally located in old town, Alexandria walking distance to shops and lots of restaurants and bars that was very convenient. The apartment was very cute. Decorated very pretty very clean. Wish the water pressure was a little harder in the shower but thatā€™s OK. Still enjoyed it.

Gem Property in Old Town

We had an amazing stay with our two young children. The space was immaculate and the location could not have been better. Beautiful interior with everything we needed. Highly recommend. The owner was very responsive. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
