Escape to The Pioneer’s Cabin, a one-of-a-kind retreat in the countryside of Washington Court House, Ohio. Whether you’re planning a family vacation, wedding weekend, group getaway, or simply looking for a comfortable place to stay, this spacious cabin offers a unique blend of character, convenience, and memorable amenities.

The heart of the home is the oversized kitchen featuring a stunning 12-foot island, generous cooking space, and everything needed to prepare meals for your group. The open-concept layout flows into two comfortable living areas, giving everyone plenty of room to gather, relax, and spend time together.

One of the home’s signature features is the breathtaking 2½-story shower tower. You’ll also enjoy a cozy cabin-style primary suite with a private balcony overlooking the countryside, an upstairs jacuzzi tub with towel warmer, and a fun treehouse-themed bedroom loved by both kids and adults. Two sound machines are provided in the main bedrooms for a restful night’s sleep.

For year-round comfort, the upstairs is equipped with both a mini-split system and a window air conditioner, allowing guests to adjust the temperature to their preference.

Step outside to enjoy the spacious backyard featuring a 7-person hot tub, outdoor TV entertainment area, large wood-burning fire pit, propane fire pit, cornhole, and plenty of seating—perfect for relaxing evenings, soaking under the stars, or enjoying time with family and friends.

General: Free WiFi, keyless entry, central heating and air, upstairs mini-split and window A/C, starter toiletries, hair dryer, hangers, washer & dryer, iron and ironing board, fresh linens and towels, trash bags, jacuzzi tub, towel warmer, and two sound machines

We provide starter supplies to help you settle in comfortably, including items such as toilet paper, paper towels (one roll), hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. These items are intended as a courtesy for the beginning of your stay. Guests are encouraged to bring or purchase any additional supplies they may need.

Accessibility: Step-free entry with wheelchair ramp; however, the home is multi-level and may not be fully accessible for all mobility needs.

Parking: Driveway parking for up to 6 vehicles with additional RV/trailer parking available

While the front of the property is near a main road, the backyard is designed to feel more private—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. You’ll be just minutes from Buckeye Hills Country Club, Walnut Creek Wedding & Event Center, Paint Creek State Park, Deer Creek State Park, Destination Outlets, the World Equestrian Center, Kings Island, and more. Centrally located between Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati airports, this property is ideal for travelers coming from multiple directions.

We continually update and maintain the cabin to provide the best possible experience. Occasionally, décor, rugs, furniture, artwork, or other furnishings may be replaced due to normal wear or unexpected damage. While the overall style, comfort, amenities, and sleeping accommodations will remain the same, some items shown in listing photos may vary slightly during your stay.

• No parties or large events without prior host approval
• Primary renter must be at least 23 years old

• Exterior security cameras are outward-facing only and record video and audio when motion is detected. No cameras monitor interior spaces.
• The property is located near a main road, which provides convenient access but may result in occasional traffic noise at the front of the home. The backyard remains a more private space for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors.
