"Overall stay was good. Beds were nice, they have one room with 1 queen, second room with 2 twin beds and one sofa bed in the TV room. Speaking of the TV, the photos might be showing there is one but that's just for decoration as per the host. Water is not drinkable, so need to arrange it ourselves. There was vomit behind toilet seat in powder room when we checked in. Rest of the cabin was clean. The door for backyard deck did not have working locks nor did it have working grill."

"The location is perfect, peaceful with great views, close to downtown. The cottage has spacious rooms. The only drawback - cleanliness. The bathroom was not cleaned appropriately, with some leftovers and hair. No soap, shampoo or some other necessary stuff. Would say not good value for money. Pretty pricey for such conditions."

"The stay was very pleasant. The kitchen was very equipped, the covered BBQ and hot tub was very nice as well. The only thing I'd suggest is to add another shower to the washroom in the basement, as it has only the toilet. The overall experience was great and we'll definitely come back next winter for another skii and snowboarding weekend!"

"Beautiful property with Gorgeous lake views. It is a nice big comfortable house with five bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. There might be slight shortage of certain things in the kitchen, so do recommend bringing items such as plastic plates and things. Otherwise everything else is functioning and well maintained. The scenery is gorgeous and I can't even imagine what it would be like to visit in the summer. My winter stay was absolutely wonderful even in the midst of a very very cold snap....

"Bathroom floors and vanity not clean, sheets on one bed seemed damp, back porch was not clean, many days not clean, sliding doors had cobwebs at all corners, no screen door here, steps from parking to door in very poor, dangerous condition, kayaks were not cleaned off and made ready for use. This cottage had not been made ready for guests. Concerned that vrbo is advertising for unkept property. We wasted time, money, dreams of a wonderful weekend ruined!!"

"VRBO should not be offering this disgraceful place. The owner clearly does not care about guests — in fact, he couldn’t even be bothered to give us the basic information to get into the property. No phone number. No entry code. We arrived stranded and had to get a neighbour to track down the owner for an entry code. If that neighboor hadn’t been home, we would’ve been stuck.The so-called “entrance” is a joke — no real stairs, just a dangerous, slippery gravel slope leading to the door. It’s a...
