"My husband and I visited for our anniversary. The cabin is lovely - beautifully renovated, thoughtfully outfitted, and situated in a lovely forested setting. The king-sized bed was the most comfortable bed that I have slept on away from home. The hot tub uses a saltwater system which is so much more pleasant than the usual chlorine/bromine systems found in most hot tubs...easier on the skin and respiratory system. We were very pleased with our experience and definitely plan to return to this...

"I really enjoyed staying at the Owl Getaway and didn't want to leave when my time was up. It was a perfect little place to get away: Secluded and quiet (except for being able to hear traffic on the road above - though it doesn't get a lot of traffic). The screened-in porch among the trees is great! The listing is literal when it says "shower only" for the bathroom: It not only means no tub, but that the sink is in the kitchen. "This was hands-down our favorite mountain stay in PA! Bruce has done such a nice job with the treehouse. It envelopes you in peace and tranquility to allow your stress to drift its way down the river. We look forward to returning to fish off the dock, take a canoe or kayak out for an adventure, grill on the deck overlooking the river, make s’mores around the campfire and just relax in the hot tub. Ramp to front door, perfect for our elderly dog. Only thing the kids didn’t like was no internet at the cabin - would have to go to the spa to have internet. Sliding glass door to balcony with chairs was a plus."

"The house was just as described in the listing. Kyle was very responsive before and during our stay. It was nice being on the river so we could fish and kayak. The grandkids loved the game room as well as the bedroom lofts. There was plenty of room for us to spread out on the enclosed porch and deck.
