Quaint beach cottage with room for all the cousins
We were so surprised by the amount of space inside. Owners have done a great job renovating, and you could definitely sleep 10 people if needed. The location is terrific for kids - a quiet street and short walk to beach. We were really pleased with beach as well. It's sandy, well-maintained, and big enough for families to spread out. Enjoyed Quahog Republic and Marc Anthony's restaurants, along with mini golf and go-karts. We really appreciated the little amenities like beach towels, and things other visitors have left behind - beach toys, sticks for roasting marshmallows, etc. The outdoor space is beautiful. (Note, it does get very breezy so be sure to lower the umbrellas when not using them!) Yard is fully fenced and loved having the baby gates inside to keep the dog limited to upstairs, and even one on the front porch - great idea. One suggestion is having a few more spots to hang towels, both outside and in bathrooms. Thank you!

Perfect Space
It was great. The kids had plenty of space to do their own thing and the adults had plenty of space to relax. Good location, nice easy walk to the beach. Loved our stay.

Just what we needed
My siblings and our spouses gathered for a much needed reunion. Anne’s place was a home away from home for all of us. It’s charming, well supplied and spotlessly clean. There was plenty of room inside and outside and plenty of accommodation for sleeping, home style dining and gathering for chats and games. Really I couldn’t say enough about this rental and neighborhood. We all loved it. Thank you, Anne, you made everything work for us and we are very grateful.

Quaint Cape Cod House
Had a great week long stay, house has everything: lots of space everyone had their own rooms, close to the beach (literally about a 6 minute walk) with chairs and towels provided, nice outdoor patio area to sit with a drink and a nice firepit for the cooler nights, a sweet little screened in patio area perfect for sitting in the morning with a cup of coffee. They are clearly revamping so its a work in progress in some areas but it didn't take away from the experience at all. Will keep this one on the radar for our next visit to New England.

Weekend wedding getaway with friends!
We had a great time in Wareham. We were in town for a wedding in Marion and this was the perfect beach house to spend our down time at. The owner was very responsive and helpful and incredibly kind.

schönes Strandhaus
Das Haus hat einen sehr rustikalen Charme. Es liegt gute 5 Minuten vom Strand entfernt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend. Die Lage ist toll. Der Strand ist ausreichend groß und nicht überfüllt. Geschäfte sind schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Cape Cod, Plymouth und Bosten konnten ebenfalls schnell erreicht werden. Allergiker sollten eher vorsichtig sein, Hunde scheinen sich zumindest zeitweise im Haus aufzuhalten. Die Terrasse ist schön ausgestattet, der Grill könnte für 8 Personen ein wenig größer sein. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert toll, leider ist der Fühler im Obergeschoss und die Lüftung im Untergeschoss. Dadurch ist es unten schon eiskalt wenn es oben angenehm ist. Wir haben dann ganz abgeschaltet, war für uns so ok, zu warm war das Haus nicht.

Girl’s Trip
6 of us (3 adults and 3 children) enjoyed a family time away in this delightful beach cottage. The cottage is homey and coastal in feel. It feels like an old family cottage! Well appointed with necessities and excellent AC when needed. Our kids loved it! The bedroom set up is quite flexible and having 2 bathrooms is a luxury in this neighborhood.

A little TLC and this could be a gem!
Any time spent with family on vacation is always perfect and we enjoyed our time at Anne’s home very much, however there are some issues I hope they address so other travelers can enjoy their trip even more than we did. I’ll start with the pros. Location was good. Just a short walk to Swifts Beach, a great little beach to enjoy. (Note: water shoes are highly recommended. My 4 year old granddaughter ended up with 2 stitches in her foot from a razor clam or? in the water) Also close to town and Onset Village with shops and restaurants. Plenty of space! 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, large dining table to gather around, enclosed front porch great for game night and a very nice deck off the back of the house. On-site laundry is also a big plus while at the beach. Onto the Cons: Terrible, heavy smell of old cigarette smoke. Our first day there we had to open the house all up and went to the store to buy Fabreeze, candles and Microban 24. After keeping the windows and doors open and spraying everything down, we were able to minimize the odor, however the whole house needs to be thoroughly cleaned and repainted to really get the smell out. Cleanliness over all was not great. Needed to wash everything before we used it and there’s not a lot of organization in the kitchen. Silverware draws, refrigerator and cabinets all need a really good cleaning. Also felt the need to wash the sheets to be comfortable sleeping in them. I hope improvements are made as this is a great beach cottage and could be a diamond in the rough!

A group that rented the property smoked. The walls were scrubbed down and windows left open for 3 days I did everything I could to try and get rid of the smell. I disagree with the cleanliness the house was spotless when I left prior to your arrival and the sheets and other bedding are all washed prior to new guests arriving. The house especially the sun room because the windows are always left open all summer can get very dusty and this year more pollen than I have experienced in the past.

Great location, house needs some updates
This house has a great location! The Swift's beach is only 5 minutes away; walk there is nice and straight forward. You could also drive, probably 1 minute, but there is no parking allowed without permit. The house itself is big, there is actually 6 bedroom in it, 3 on each level - upper and lower, but only 2 bathrooms, 1 on each level. The lower bathroom is in a poor condition. During our stay, the toilet was leaking, the medicine cabinet's light was not working, the shower curtain was ripped and moldy. Half of the beds requires change of mattresses, they were very uncomfortable. The AC is tricky: it is not vey efficient on the upper level, but super efficient on the lower level, to the point of freezing. However, the owner was responsive and helpful with things that could be fixed quickly (like change of shower curtain). Kitchen was stuffed vey well, no problems there. There was also plenty of towels and bedding linens. There is a shed on this property which is full of useful beach things, this was a great plus. Generally, we enjoyed our stay. If the weather is good, like we had, you tent to accept whatever you have.

It was like staying in your Aunt’s house
Everything you need for a beach getaway is left for you to use in this house- even some snacks, some soda, sunscreen toiletries and lots of fresh towels! Very thoughtful and convenient. The house layout however is not ideal there is no open area for families to hang out. Some parts of the house need some updates and the bedrooms on the upper floor (where my husband and I slept) were not comfortable- mattresses too soft and one of the rooms it was hard to navigate the room was small and Ned against a wall. Otherwise for a basicand quiet beach getaway you’ll get Value from this house (you can literally walk back and forth to the beach it’s a few blocks only) this fits the bill! The property owner Anne was so thoughtful and responsive, even left a note with her local food tips and restaurant recommendations. Like I said, our stay felt like we were at a relative’s home!

Beach time
We enjoyed the property with a perfect set up for our dog who is used to running out the door whenever she wants. The baby gate allowed us to keep her in when necessary. Plenty of space for people to hang out in and we especially enjoyed the porch. The beach was nice and close.
