"Clean and convenient - large 4 acre dog park just down the street. We had a great stay despite the lack of a dishwasher. The place is a little dated but it was like staying at Nanny's apartment. The sauna was a nice bonus. The beds were comfy and the extra half bath was extremely handy with 2 couples staying. There was an extra fridge for bevies and we found all the necessary accoutrements to make dinners. "

"I have stayed in this hotel during both the winter and summer seasons, and let me say that I would come back here every time I visit Fernie BC. The staff is always extremely welcoming and friendly. "Stayed for 12 days. Dead bugs behind the fridge and under beds. Wiring/electrical was sub-standard. Staff overheard discussing co-workers in unprofessional behavior. Front desk gentleman is apparently "challenged", does not understand what graveyard shift is. Pool was in state of unusable renovation that has not changed in months. Continental breakfast had no choice for multigrain bread after 1st day. Beds were uncomfortable. Otherwise really good location next to river and trails."

"Very easy checking/out. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Amazing toiletries (hand soap/body wash/ shampoo). Only one negative - the toilet was hard to flush. The floater was bent so that the tank only filled half way. Told the staff as I left and they were thankful for the info. Overall would stay again."
