We had a great time staying here. It was our second time and again was great! The house is very clean, kitchen well stocked. The wildlife, the quiet, the peace of mind - priceless. Our kids were so happy after they found out that we coming back to the "wooden house in West Virginia".There is plenty of activities you can do around, starting with tons of hiking trails, caverns and ending with local charming shops and wineries. We recommend West Whitehill Winery in Moorefield.Sadly, we had to go back home, but we will be happy to come back.We would give this property six stars if we could.

Stayed at this cabin for the 4th of July weekend. The cabin was very clean and super cute!! This place was exactly as pictured, and perfect for secluded, much needed getaway!!!!! Highly recommend!

This cabin is extremely nice and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It's charmingly decorated, the kitchen is stocked with all cooking amenities, the bed was comfortable, the fire pit and hot tub were awesome and the grounds were perfect for our dog. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the birds, taking in the mountain view and just plain old enjoying the solitude. We even had some deer visit. All around just a wonderful stay!

Just perfect

When we showed up, we were convinced that this cabin was brand new and that we were the first people to stay there. It was immaculate. Beautiful construction, very well stocked kitchen, lovely front porch with great views, super comfortable beds. And a great location for exploring the surrounding areas. Highly recommend hikes in the Lost River state park, pizza and Lost & Found, and pool at Red's Broken Spoke.

Beautiful Fall Getaway!

Cozy cabin, excellent views and privacy! The cabin is well stocked and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub in the evenings and coffee in the rockers on the front porch in the morning.

Anniversary Getaway

This cabin was absolutely beautiful in a very secluded area of West Virginia. The only thing around for miles was the wildlife. The owners thought of everything when building and furnishing this cabin. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get away from hustle and bustle of life. This is truly Gods country.

Wonderful getaway!

Fall gathering

Our stay at the cabin was a fall paradise. The cabin is on a mountain with beautiful views. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen very loaded with everything I need to cook a family dinner. The hot tub was a relaxing treat after hiking. The location is perfect with miles of trails within 30 minutes. We did Big Schlos and witness the solar eclipse- magically. Other trails eagle rock and half moon worth doing. We had other family members staying nearby vrbo and all ate meals here. 5 stars thank you for taking thought into the cabin and all it offers the guest

Perfect Getaway

The Perfect Getaway!

The reviews & pictures of this perfect little getaway cabin do not even do it justice! Booking was very easy and the communication with the property management was great. Arriving to the cabin, I was more than amazed at the beauty and the cleanliness of EVERYTHING! It was easy to see that there was great pride taken to prepare the cabin for our visit; from the complimentary bottle of local wine (a great and thoughtful welcome gift!) to the Welcome book that provided great tips on local stores, sights, & things to do during our stay. The property, the fire pit, the BBQ grill, the hot tub, the jacuzzi, and the cabin itself were all perfectly clean and well kept. This was great to disconnect from work and really relax and get connected with nature. We especially loved watching the woodpeckers and hummingbirds feed at the hummingbird feeder. Also, there were many thoughtful considerations made, like toddler accessories, tons of kitchen supplies, dishes, utensilsā€¦ all which were great not to have to run to the store to buy for our visit. This was a perfect getaway at the perfect placeā€¦ ā€œAlmost Heaven - WV Wild & Wonderfulā€! It was hard to leave, but we will come back again! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. Rising each morning to see the mountains, clouds, and sunrises were equally as amazing as watching the sun go down. What a magical experience - pure perfection all the way around!

Great cabin in a secluded setting!

Very clean and well apportioned cabin in the quiet woods of WV. Saw a couple deer one morning as they walked across the yard/driveway, otherwise things were very quiet (just like we wanted them to be!) The hummingbirds were out in force as well; good company while sitting on the deck in the rocking chairs drinking the complementary wine (thank you!)

Heaven West Virginia, no ā€œAlmost Heavenā€ necessary

Wow, where do we start? This cabin is absolutely heaven! We were highly satisfied with our stay, and didnā€™t want to leave. This beautiful cabin is well thought out, is very clean, and the view is absolutely beautiful. My husband and I played with our radio controlled cars on the rocks and had a blast! We enjoyed sitting on the back deck soaking up the sun and using the hot tub, as well as rocking on the front porch watching the storms, the beautiful sunsets, and the wildlife play in the woods as well as the yard. If youā€™re looking to unplug, this is hands down the place to go. We didnā€™t leave the property once we arrived and never saw another person for 6 days which was awesome! Thank you Lee and Sonia for allowing others to enjoy your cabin! We hope to return!
