The Space:

The night sky opens above the dome, constellations spilling across the dark like scattered lanterns while the scent of pine drifts through the air. You settle onto the private deck, the fire pit crackling, and feel the cool mountain breeze mingle with the warm glow of the flames. Inside, the dome’s curved walls frame the woods, inviting you to unwind after a day of hiking or fishing on the surrounding 35 acres. Winter’s hush settles over the landscape, and the dome’s heating keeps the interior snug as snow dusts the treetops.



Sleeping arrangements

The loft‑style dome sleeps up to four guests. A king bed rests on the main level, offering spacious comfort and views through expansive windows. Above, a queen loft bed provides a cozy perch for stargazing from the loft, accessed by stairs—ideal for guests comfortable with a multi‑level layout.



Interior comforts

A full indoor bathroom with shower and bathroom essentials lets you refresh without stepping back into the cold. Heating maintains a gentle warmth in winter, while air conditioning offers relief on milder days. WiFi supports streaming and remote work, and a TV with sound system provides quiet evenings indoors. A sound machine is available to help mask any occasional road noise from the nearby state route.

Setting & shared property notes

Orion is part of a larger private retreat that includes another dome about 100 feet away and a yurt over 400 feet distant. While other guests may be present on the property, your dome retains its own deck and fire pit for a sense of seclusion. Free parking is available on the premises. The cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, though leaves, pollen, and seasonal debris may still appear.



Area highlights

A short drive leads to hiking trails, fishing spots, and Lost River State Park. Nearby small towns offer cafés, restaurants, and local shops for relaxed afternoons before returning to the dome’s warmth.



Winter travel considerations

Snow and icy conditions may require four‑wheel drive or tire chains, and travel insurance is recommended during winter months. Road conditions are outside host control, and refunds are not offered for weather‑related closures.
