"The house was clean. Communication with management company was subpar. We got scripted responses to all questions, and false information. For example, we asked if hot tub was working and was told it was. When we arrived, the hot tub was broken and dirty. Also, check-out is at 10am and there is nowhere to leave belongings if you’d like to stay in FI for the day. They should allow a place to keep luggage prior to departure. Overall, great and clean house and amazing location!"

"We stayed at Jess' place as a hub for visiting family on Long Island and for going into Manhattan for day-trips. The place was nice, clean and easy to access, and we slept wonderfully on the comfy mattresses. We would definitely recommend Jess' place for a stay."

"Deidre was a wonderful host. Very communicative. She answered every question promptly. She stocked the apartment with extra items like coffee and oatmeal in the kitchen, and toothpaste in the bathroom. These are items that you don’t find in other VRBOs. I appreciated being able to park my rental car on the driveway. Location was great, close to shops and restaurants and the beach. And she gave the best restaurant suggestions! I enjoyed my stay."

"We found the house to be really cute and fun to stay in. The location was excellent and we even saw a deer on our last morning! Our main issues, and why this isn’t a 5 star rating, were that multiple lighting fixtures weren’t working and there was an entire bed missing. The ad mentions “1 queen, 1 double, 4 twin’ beds however there’s really 1 queen and 4 twins. This could have caused a big problem if our group was just a bit larger. "We stayed at the New Dawn for a Memorial Service. The setting on the water was so peaceful and private, yet easy access for those of us traveling by public transportation from Manhattan and La Guardia airport. "Never again! It’s a dirty place in a terrible neighborhood! They have no phone in the room! I asked TWICE for extra pillows and was told it’s coming up both times and they never did! The linens were old and had holes in them! One of the bath towel which was folded on top of the railing was dirty and seemed used! A had to dry myself using the hand towels! Oh and the remote control had a melted battery in it for which I had to go downstairs AGAIN and you guessed it! Never got a new one! A terrible experience, but I want to tell all my hotels.com users to delete this one from the list! Not worth the aggregation and possible tick bites that I feel on my legs!"
