"Incredible service. My girlfriend texted them an hour before we arrived that it was my birthday, and they prepared decorations and a cake on short notice. They also prepared medicine when my girlfriend was feeling sick. And the shuttle service to Wulingyuan was invaluable. Also, we only stayed for one night but the room and scenery were as good as they look in the pictures."

"Before you book: if you haven't stay on a mountain hotel, and you don't know how to handle some bugs or moisture, don't book. This hotel is in the mountain, so there are bugs and moisture visible. Fungus on the shower curtain, and the hotel needs maintanance, but overall great. Chinese beds, and if you can, as almost all budget hotels, bring your own router, as wifi is low. "Excellent hotel in Zhangjiajie across the street from the cable car to Tianmen Mountain. The room I stayed on the second floor was completely remodelled. It was perfect! Very comfortable bed, linens and shower, and quite spacious. Breakfast wasn't bad but there could be more choices for the western taste. This is my second stay a the Hampton by Hilton and I will return."
