"I stayed with my two children and my parents, and this accommodation suited us perfectly. Rooms were well appointed, great bathroom facilities (including a 3rd toilet downstairs) and plenty of space for us all. We enjoyed walking to various locations (Lake Weeroona, Rosalind Park, Golden Dragon Museum, Bendigo Woollen Mills) each day. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay with everything we needed and more!"

"Perfect place to get away from the city and relax. For curious people there is plenty to do in the area - it's central to Castlemaine, Maldon, Daylesford, Maryborough, et al. "The cottage and surrounds were inviting and peaceful. Bed linen was beautiful, though we did find the mattresses too firm for us. Everything we needed was supplied and the fireplace kept the cottage cosy and warm. We also enjoyed the bookcase filled with an interesting mix of books and games, as well as the hammock and a fire by the dam to take in the beautiful starry sky. Elbert was friendly, welcoming and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"
