"The property is great. Very well kept both inside and out.The rear porch by the bubbling brook is very enjoyable. The view from the front porch is great as well. Plenty of clean towels and wash clothes. Only 2 minor items to mention. The water in the shower is poor and the front door gets stuck on the uneven floor. These items did not affect our stay. We would recommend this property to anyone. "

"In town but no near neighbors; comfy and fun for close friends/relatives. (1 bath) Some antiques and restaurants close but quiet and clean"

"We enjoyed our weekend at the cozy cottage on the Cumberland gap. The only thing I would improve on is the bed that is very creaky. Also communication was minimal. I couldn’t see the links given in the message and the hosts didn’t respond to my question. All good though because it was just as pictured. "

"Excellent property and excellent owner! Lovely property, attention to detail, comfortable bed and a great place to relax. Highly recommend!"

"The stay was better than I imagined it would be. Beautiful country view with green meadows and cows. So much history in this house. So many things in the house reminded me of my mother. Very quiet, comfortable and clean. It is the best place we have stayed. The communication with Nell was better than great. He stayed up late to help us find our way. We arrived in the dark and Nell was ready for us with the lights on so we could safely enter the house. I can’t wait to return and book this country...

"I rented this property to provide a close environment during a tragic time. But I think that it would be great for a fun vacation to visit all the local attractions and have a family reunion."

"We made last minute changes to our July off-road plans. This meant finding a new spot over a holiday weekend that allowed dogs ASAP. BJ quickly responded to my Facebook post about the opening and was very welcoming! We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend in Evarts! We loved the location to the trails! Excited to come back for Fall Crawl with our group! "

"THE HOUSE WAS PERFECT, CLEAN AND HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED, EVEN COFFEE AND CONDIMENTS. THE ONLY THING I WISHED IT HAD WAS A FENCED IN YARD FOR OUR DOGS BUT WE WALKED THEM ON THE CAMPUS OF LMU NOT FAR AWAY. "

"What a wonderful property! We loved the privacy of our site and the outdoor area was so fun and relaxing for my partner and I! The hot tub was a hit for him and provided much pain relief and I loved having the ability to cook on the griddle/grill combo! We met Wes on our way out and had a wonderful talk about the area and local culture- he was very knowledgeable and friendly. We both hope to be back for another visit soon! "

"My husband, sons and I were in town for our daughter's whitecoat ceremony at LMU. The location was perfect for our needs. The apartment has ample space and was comfortable for the four of us.The only negative was the access to the stairs. It had rained the day of our arrival and the path to the stairs was a muddy mess. "

"I was very pleased with the hospitality, having a wash room to use, and great kitchen, too. Could relax a little watching streaming channels, too."

"Everything was clean and as represented in the listing. The driveway situation was not ideal, but the property manager informed me of this ahead of our stay, and added that they are working on that issue. Overall it was exactly as promised, and ideal for our stay."

"Roaches as big as my thumb, mouse droppings. Owners didn’t know anything about the camper. Air stopped working, had to call someone myself to tell me how to fix it. Owners didn’t seem to wanna be bothered . They had better things to do Took 2 hours to show up to check it by then I had it working . Daughter knew more about the camper than they did . I get that it’s all new to them . But they could’ve done so much better. Get an exterminator!!!!"
