"I stayed at the Motel 6 in Lexington during Parents Weekend and paid approximately $250 per night, an extraordinarily inflated rate for a Motel 6 and particularly unacceptable given the condition of the room. I was assigned Room 234, which was infested with roaches and stink bugs. This was not a matter of seeing one stray insect. There were multiple bugs in the room during my stay, making the experience extremely unpleasant and raising serious concerns about the cleanliness and condition of the...

"Wonderful home on beautiful grounds. Wonderful cazebo overlooking a creek boardering the rear of the property. Sandra met us shortly after we arrived inviting us in like family with a tour of the house and our room. Breakfast was marvelous with all you could want. "

"My husband, our fur babies, and I had a fantastic getaway! Everything was exactly as pictured and the property was super clean (something I'm very picky about!) We especially loved all the thoughtful details, like the heated bathroom floor, towel rack, flashlight, towels for hot tub, separate towel for drying off pet paws, snacks, etc. Everything was beautifully decorated and felt so cozy. We definitely relaxed and recharged! The property is gorgeous.Pamela was incredibly responsive. Our pups...

"We loved our stay at the Mid-Century Retreat! The location was perfect—just minutes from downtown Lexington, yet set on a beautiful property with stunning mountain views. The house was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Very nice property,"

"This home is a gem. We loved it and will certainly come back. The view was so tranquil. We loved the hot tub. We were ready to have an evening fire but it rain. Which wasn’t really a problem as we were watching the World Cup.The kitchen and bedrooms were so well appointed. If I had any critique is that we wish check out was at 11;00 so we could have stayed longer. Our host was so wonderful to respond to any question we had promptly. Thank you for the wonderful stay."

"Rooms are not very clean, a lot of dust and bugs everywhere in a bedrooms. Kitchen also dirty, kayaks outside was dirty , fishing rods broken , trash was left from previous guests downstairs! Grill not works on a day we check in. Patio area is full of pet hair everywhere on a floor , chairs and tables! Location is nice ! Housekeeping service is terrible! For the price we paid we expected to have more."

"Bathroom was not good. Hair and weird stains in and on the tub/shower area, mold where there should be caulk, rusted door ways. There was a great sliding glass door to a patio and it took 2 people to open & close it. I don't think the room and especially the bathroom have had a decent cleaning and months. With the hair of the tub I don't think it was clean before we got there."

"Property was newly opened/updated and staff is very pleasant! Love the local goods in the lobby and comfortable bedding. A wonderful place to stay- especially if you are visiting your student at Washington & Lee!"
