"The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. However, the room needed some TLC. The showerhead sprayed water in all directions, the toilet did not flush very well, and the bedsheets could have been cleaner, as there were marks that looked like possible oil stains. The bathroom could also do with a new blind, as the existing one had yellow staining. The room itself was comfortable, but unfortunately, the sash windows were left closed but unlocked which we did not discover until the...

"I stay around 10 times a year. A 5 star welcome, 5 star food, 5 star service and a 5 star room. A unique old hotel with a modern, clean, tidy fresh feel. The food is amazing, locals travel here for the food. Highly recammend!"

"Room was clean and comfortable but starting to show signs of needing attention (worn through couch covers, split pillow case) the TV didnt want to turn on and there has been a downgrade in the bathroom amenities from the baylis & harding i loved. Parking was plentiful"

"Muito aquém do valor cobrado. Quarto muito pequeno, casa de banho com chuveiro sem porta que deixava o chão alagado. Ventilação do wc não funcionava e não havia janela. O pequeno almoço também não foi servido como de costume. Não tinham uma máquina de tirar café, apenas café de num termo. Pouca variedade de pequeno almoço."

"Have stayed a number of times when visiting the area. Would highly recommend it"

"Schönes Hotel mit kleinen, gemütlichen Zimmern. Verdammt heiße Dusche, daher aufpassen! 😀 Gute Anbindung an die Autobahn, ausreichend Parkplätze und sehr nettes Personal. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"Clean"

"Great hotel will stay there again for races however I would advise we did have 3 rooms and all 3 were cold even with heating turned up full blast need to sort in these colder months"

"Perfect for a short solo stay. Bed super comfortable"

"O hotel e muito bom, totalmente reformado. O atendimento muito bom. O restaurante tem uma comida surpreendente."

"We enjoyed a wonderful stay, and a really good meal too, thank you!"

"Clean property with friendly staff."

"Hotel was ok, on site pub was poor"

"Cute hotel, good location, modern, and nice to have the tavern attached for a drink and breakfast, but the double room was very small and with no closet, drawers or anywhere to put suitcases we had little floor space left. Too cramped for a couple but probably great for one person. Also it's loud if you have a room facing the square. I would stay again, but in a larger room at the back of the hotel."

"Beautiful accommodation. Friendly staff. Great price including a wonderful breakfast."
