"We were very impressed with our holiday home, it was very clean and very comfortable and a bonus having a fire, as it got very cold, well equipped. And the Owner gave us some fish, so nice & welcoming, we will definitely be back . Very stunning place, blessed with excellent weather"

"Situated overlooking Portage and 270deg views. Had a perfectly relaxing weekend with kayaking and walking and plenty of spa time. You don't have the house to yourself which we didn't realise when we booked it. However, you don't see the owners and your little self contained room is accessible without disturbing them."

"The place is remote and fabulous with a steep gravel driveway and set far above the road for noiseless nights of stargazing. "The view and location was amazing and the house was generally clean and comfortable with some dusty bits and some cobwebs. But the place is a bit tatty and run down. "We arrived and promptly welcomed by Arianne with a cup of tea and carrot cake - lovely touch. At the end of our day's walk, the hot tub was very much appreciated. Facilities are great. Best of all, Arianne and Victor are the best hosts. We will recommend to friends and would certainly love to return."

"Older property but safe, secluded with a beautiful view of Portage Bay and mountains. Rooms have a patio, but no televisions or clocks. Shower floor was slippery. One dining room and separate lounge area with fireplace. Because of major storm damage a few years ago, we were not able to drive to property, instead we needed to take a water taxi from Picton."
